So everyone knows about alternate universes now. But have they seen any strange ones?

And I mean, strange like. Is your evil alternate twin running around here? Or a good looking one (but with a beard?)

I'm just kind of curious as to what people know about alternate universes and what they've noticed about them.

What do you feel was the main difference between you and other selves?

Was it safe to know them? The good ones anyway.

To be fair, I grew up with my evil twin. I didn't realise he was evil until it was too late.

The others all have beards, myself included. They've all seemed fine and not inclined to villainy. However it is a little disconcerting seeing what is essentially yourself.

Like . . . it could be you someday?

[If Tony knew he was speaking to a kid, he probably wouldn't be fudging the truth so much. He generally found it upsetting because of all the what ifs it brought up.]

How much is too much? Should people not know that much about you?

You know those lies you tell yourself? Seeing your alternates makes you have to face the truth of that.

How about I start with the fact that I wasn't replying with an age appropriate answer?

Being a kid isn't gonna stop that from happening around me.

Besides, your answer was fine. I just have a different take on lying.

Someone your age is far less likely to have a label of the 'evil twin' or have enough regrets in their life that the fun house mirror isn't so fun to look at.

My dad had one. Sort of.

He tried to erase me from existence. Wiped my parents' minds of me.

[ It was . . . oddly comforting, typing that out. He hadn't told anyone else in Riverview before but he feels frustrated and tired. He's a kid but he's also not. He's Superman's son and his whole life had strange messes Jon couldn't fully untangle. ]

If he failed once, he can fail again. You survived, therefore it's not the end.

It wasn't about surviving.

It was about love. And not letting go. I didn't let go so we came out okay.
