So everyone knows about alternate universes now. But have they seen any strange ones?

And I mean, strange like. Is your evil alternate twin running around here? Or a good looking one (but with a beard?)

I'm just kind of curious as to what people know about alternate universes and what they've noticed about them.

No.

But I don't have a lot of friends in general. It's normal.

Any idea why that is?

Yeah. It's complicated.

It's not like I'm not allowed to. But it's not easy.

When I was your age, I didn't really have any friends either. But then I found one good one.

Yeah. I'm not quite there yet.

[ Jon likes Kathy and she's probably the closest he has to a best friend, but that might change. ]

But maybe someday?

Definitely. I wouldn't mind giving it a try, if you wouldn't mind being friends with an old geezer.

Why not? New friends are always a good thing. Plus you could probably explain my smartphone better than anyone.

Some parts. I'm not allowed to go to a lot of places on my own.

[ He technically can, but even across the multiverse, Jon is loathe to break the rules. ]

I've been around the city and the jungle for a short bit. I even looked at the portal.

But I haven't been out of the city yet. Because of all the monsters. My parents would freak out if I did that on my own.

It's not a good idea without a reason.

Of course you can. We need everyone. But people have been telling me not to leap without looking for years. Maybe they have a point.
