w h o a okay, definitely from different universes in that case because we've never had any alien ships, crashed or otherwise, where i'm from
(unless you count area 51)
also s.t.a.r. labs where i'm from is down to about... two people. so the government isn't about to give us a ring if martians decide to drop in.
and i don't know what you've been told but it's not like all metas are bad. just the ones who use their powers to hurt people and steal shit.
