Bond 2 [@prof.sycamore: Text]
Can someone give me a hand on a short exploration?
You see, I managed to receive a special device from my world and I need to test something on the field, just in case.
However, I am aware of the dangers outside the city and I don't want my Garchomp to overwork herself, so I need someone for protection for a short test drive just in case.

WILL I GET A POKEMON???
Re: [ text | un: jkent ]
Well, it depends...
Do you know about Pokemon?
Re: [ text | un: jkent ]
Kind of? I know someone here has one.
I thought it was cool.
Re: [ text | un: jkent ]
My name is Professor Sycamore and I'm a Pokemon Professor back in my world. You're new to Riverview?
no subject
Yeah! I'm Jon. And I'm ten.
[ The only time Jon would say his age with pride because it makes him eligible for pokemon. ]
no subject
And I can say that you're old enough to own a Pokemon of your own.
no subject
What do I need to do, sir?
no subject
Unfortunately, I don't have them right now. Also, I have to do a short exploration to test out a device so anyone in the city can use it.

no subject
But I don't know if you can. It can be pretty dangerous.
[Another reason why he turned to the network in the first place.]
no subject
no subject
Which is why I rarely go out to the city without any protection or companion around.
no subject
Well I hope you can find the help you need, sir. Maybe you could tell me about it if it goes well?
no subject
no subject
I mean.
If you can, sir. That'd be awesome.
no subject
I'm glad to hear that.
I'll try to contact you if it goes well.

[ Cisco's not really down for exploring or capable of being protection, but that doesn't mean he isn't curious. And nosy. ]
Re: text | @ciscodelamancha
I just received it the other day and I'm planning to give out the mass-produced versions to the public soon.

sounds useful. though i gotta ask - what's the advantage to carrying around an encyclopedia rather than creating some kind of database that people can access from any device they might have on them? isn't that more efficient?
no subject
And I think it might be necessary to anyone who wants to explore and hunt the hostile monsters outside the city. I've added a function that will notify and distinguish a monster and Pokemon. This way, they will avoid killing or provoking the latter by accident.

[ But more importantly... ]
What's a...Garchomp?
Re: [text: un shigeru miyata]
As for your question, Garchomp is a Dragon and Ground-type Pokemon, one of the magical creatures that lived in my world.
[text: un shigeru miyata]
[ Not all magical creatures are bad in his world, but most are if not dangerous, extremely powerful and capable of mass destruction. ]
Where exactly are we going?
Re: [text: un shigeru miyata]
And I want to go somewhere where most monsters lived alongside the Pokemon's habitat. But I don't want to stray too far off from the city.

[What a professional and no-nonsense reply. If 2B has questions about this, she keeps them to herself. It's research so it's probably very important.]

End of transmission.
[Well, that went smoothly. Imagine if someone weird offered to help, instead.]
Voice @the.boneless
[It's only fair turnaround after the professor gave him advice that helped him catch his Ponyta.]
no subject
[Not to mention that he managed to remember him from when he tried to catch a Pokemon. Speaking of which...]
By the way, how is your Ponyta doing?
no subject
[Hooray for progress! Now he just has to work on him burning everything and everyone else.]
no subject
[Hearing this makes him hope that he and Ponyta are getting along very well.]
Before I forget, there are several people joining us in our short expedition. Is that okay for you?
no subject
[Fire extinguishers have become his new best friend. Of course, it would help if he didn't keep bringing out his Pokemon in such flammable areas.]
That's fine. Let's just hope we don't run into any unfriendly monsters out there.
no subject
Well, it's no surprise since he's new to his surroundings.
My only suggestion is that you should take it out from any indoor areas for a while and try to help him out on socializing some other Pokemon as well with interacting with other people.
Also, if it's still nervous, try to bond with him for a while until he gets used to his new home.
no subject
[He's making mental notes. The only other person he knows of that has a Pokemon is Letha, but he's sure she'd be willing to let Sprig and Skinfaxi interact together.]
Is there any type of special food he should be eating?
no subject
Also, he can eat any human food as well. But it might be healthy for him to try the food I've mentioned.
no subject
[He had noticed Skinfaxi seemed willing to eat anything. At least it made feeding him easy.]
no subject
I have some Potions for you to use just in case.
no subject
[It sounds like something a wizard would think up. Then again, somehow Professor Sycamore's world had developed a ball that could contain creatures of any size. Anything else wasn't much of a surprise after that.]

[He's still got a lot to learn about properly taking care of his Pokemon.]
no subject
Regardless, I feel that you can able to take care of your Ponyta if you follow my advice.
