[Odo’s a little unsure how to address the network, and as much as he tries to repress that hesitation, it’s still noticeable for those paying attention. The network was usually something he only observed, but this was a quicker way to gather information than asking individuals.
He starts off with what he thinks is a socially appropriate greeting.]
Good Morning.
I am looking for information regarding renting some space. Either something suitable for an office, or an open area without any furniture. I suppose that means I’ll have to contact some kind of landlord.
[His tone indicates he’s not exactly happy about this idea.]
If any of you could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
[He’s about to end the feed when he remembers something.]
...Thank you.

If using booby traps were the most common crime on Deep Space Nine, they wouldn't need law enforcement officers as resourceful as me.
[There's a look of curiosity in Odo's eyes as he leans slightly closer to the camera.]
Who is this... Kevin McCallister? Should I be keeping an eye on him?

I'll bet. I mean, I can't even imagine what kinds of criminal shit people would get up to at a space station like that. Probably plenty, since there's a lot of people passing through, right? Lotta shady deals and fugitives and whatever else?
[ Whereas he laughed easily before, Cisco tries to keep himself from laughing at Odo's mistake, now. Only he does a rather poor job of it, eyes sparkling with mirth as he says: ]
No, don't worry about it. He's not, uh. He's not here. Besides, he was using his booby traps for good, to stop burglars that had come in his house. Nothing wrong with that.

You could say that. On a typical day, you can expect a few acts of petty theft, vandalism, disorderly conduct, or assault - but there's always something larger to investigate. Without the right security in place, the station could become a haven for smugglers, embezzlers, murderers or assassins.
[Again, not sure why Cisco was so amused, Odo could only reply to the actual words and not the mirth behind them.]
Good intentions or no, if he shows up I'll want to be the first to hear about it.

[ A bit of an exaggeration - Cisco had gotten interested in crime-solving stuff from shitty TV when he was growing up, but he feels like Odo would scoff at that more readily than him saying it's because of Eddie.
He's still struggling to hold back his laughter, but it only shows in the brightness of his eyes and the fact that he's smiling as he says: ]
If that happens, I'll be sure to let you know. But I wouldn't worry about it too much.
