Audio/Video --- un: L.Mills

So...[The audio was the first to turn on, and Lucy figures it out when she sees her screen is dark. She quickly changes it to video, looking at the camera, unsure of what she's doing but she has to try. The network gets to see a young girl who looks unsure, but trying to be brave at this moment. A lot has been on her mind, but she needs to figure this place out first.

To some, she may carry certain characteristics of another young person from a long time ago..or recent.]

I can't say this is cool or not, we're on a moon and there aren't any flying cars but...

Anyone here know of Snow White? Or...The Evil Queen? And if they're here...maybe, point me in their direction?

[Is she being serious? The look on her face says yes. She needs to find people she can trust, and hopefully not be placed in a group home.]

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

[She moves to stand in front of him, staring at him not in horror, but in utter surprise.]

You're the Doctor Frankenstein?

[Of course Regina went to him! To try and get her first love's heart back, to bring him back from the dead! Okay, he got ten times cooler in her eyes.]

I didn't think your world was real--I mean, I should've known, but did you use a magic bean to meet Regina or--how? How did you two meet?

[finally someone appreciates him. He likes you so much more now, Lucy]

Jefferson. He's a portal-jumper, so he used that power to jump me from my world to theirs.

Jefferson??

[The name doesn't ring a bell for her either. Really, with a big book like the one that Henry had, there are a lot of stories to cover.]

I only thought you could go from one world to the next with a magic bean or...a lot of magic.

That's so cool!

Mm. He became known as the Mad Hatter.

[he shrugs] I guess the hat carried a lot of magic, then. I never really examined the mechanics of it.

The Mad Hatter? From Alice in Wonderland?

[Just trying to get everything straight in her mind, because wow. The Mad Hatter? He was mentioned a handful of times, but after a while, he wasn't mentioned at all. Regina sure knew a lot of people.]

So he travels with his hat rather than through a door or a looking glass? [And now she wants to reread his story, assuming they can find the same book Henry had...or something similar.]

Doors and looking glasses are certainly acceptable portals to other worlds. I think his hat acts like a train station of sorts. It's a link between all the different worlds.

[look at him trying to explain how a magical hat works]

[And Lucy is going to take it all in. She doesn't get to talk about this anymore, not since the curse. It's comforting and fun.]

So...is his hat like...[Gosh, what's her name? The nanny who had a bag that seemingly never ending? Mary...something.] Is his hat it's own dimension?

[funny thing is, he hasn't really talked about his own experiences with magic before now. Ruby was the only one he really confided in, and he hadn't seen her in a long time. It's really nice to talk about this stuff]

That's an excellent way of phrasing it, Lucy. It is like its own dimension, and when you're inside it feels like you're nowhere and everywhere at the same time.

But..how do you get into his hat? Do you shrink down or does it get bigger?

[To anyone else walking by or passing them, it would sound like they're talking nonsense, but it makes perfect sense to them.]

What other worlds have you been to?

He spins it on the ground and it creates a whirlwind. You just jump in.

Hm. Well, there's the one I was born in, there's the Enchanted Forest, Storybrooke, here... That's four.

That’s way different than I thought it would be.

I’ve only been to two—well, three of you count this place. My home and then Hyperion Heights.

So how did you travel between them?

I don't....

[She looks down for a moment.]

The curse took me and my family from our world to Hyperion Heights. And here...I just woke up. So...yeah.

So the curse took you, but you weren't affected by it?

Sort of? I remember...[She pauses, trying to recall what exactly made her remember the actual truth.] Everything being stale and repetitive? But, then I saw a copy of Henry's book and once I started to read it, it made sense. I remembered and I had to figure out a way to get Henry to remember too.

Stale and repetitive. Sounds like the first curse. I have no doubt you'll figure out a way to break it. Your family history has proven how capable you all are.

[ There’s another faint nod of her. She doesn’t seem as upbeat and bright as before. She doesn’t know if the curse can be broken now. Maybe it was pointless to try and find a way...

But it does look like they’re by the library. ]

Think it’s open?

[he is absolutely the wrong person to try encouraging her. But at least there's the library]

Let's go see.

[yep just gonna go right up and see if the door's open]

[The library is seemingly open, opening to reveal rows and rows of shelves and different books. Some in different languages, but a variety of reading material for all ages.]

Whoa...this is bigger than I thought.

It's definitely bigger than the one in Storybrooke. Go on and see what you can find. I'll be over with the science and medical books.

[mostly he's curious to see what this place has, what worlds the books represent, etc]

Way bigger than the one at school.

[She scans the area and nods her head to him.]

I'll come to you in...an hour? Would that work?

That's fine.

[that's more than enough time for him to load up on books]

Okay.

[Gives them time to split up and research their own books. Lucy jets off to the fantasy section, starting off in the kids section first, going through those books by skimming their titles before heading into the other sections.]
