(Claire is slightly out of breath and she is wearing an outfit that is a far cry from the one she arrived in. She leans against what looks like a stone pillar, stretching out the muscles in her back.)
I could use an opponent. I can spar all I like against myself, but that won't do me much good.
(Just keep in mind, even without magical powers, she can handle herself just fine. After dusting off her hands, she picks up the communicator and pans the picture, showing that she is right on the edge of the main civilization.)
Bring a weapon. I don't want to be the cause of some tragedy. (Though she will look out for whoever answers her call. This is just her version of "tough love".)

[He's slightly amused, but still interested.]

[Sparring near the fence. Nothing could go wrong.]

[Does he need to borrow something? Nah, it'll be fine, right?]

What sort of thing can you do? I'd be bringing a bastard sword, but it may be that practice weapons are better.
video; private;
Where are those genes?)I can handle a sword. If you have decent control, we don't need to rely on the practice weapons.

What he isn't is smug, in face or voice.]
Oh, I have good control.
But be sure your sword is up to it; mine is Valyrian steel. Harder and lighter than you might have seen before, and it retains its edge better than ordinary steel. I don't want to destroy a sword someone can't easily replace.
What should I call you? I'm Jon Snow.

Glad to hear it. (Have a helping of sarcasm, Jon.) I'd like to see what it can do. I've brought several types of swords with me, so if you cut through one of them, I have a back up.
I'm...Lightning. (She just isn't ready to say her given name. These circumstances feel too much like the world she left behind.)
Video @KingFisherman
(Noctis doesn't mind blowing off some steam and allowing himself to train, but if she's not as good as she claims, it can be a waste of time.)

Video
(Arrogance and truth. Noctis is the epitome of combat prince.)
I could blow off some steam. Any landmarks I can use?

Video --> Action
(The video cuts off with the sudden appearance of black.
It isn't a quick trip, but Noctis has learned the basics of the city. After finding the correct transportation and then the exit, Noctis follows the wall until he sees the part he recognized in the video. It helps that the woman from the stream is visible.
He hasn't...really sparred with a woman before. He's seen females guards and knows they're capable, but his partners had always been male.
They'd mostly been Gladio.
He holds up a hand in greeting, though there are no visible weapons on his person.)
I'm here.
Action
Now she is wholly human again and relying on her own strength. The lessons she has learned have made her smoother - less likely to make a mistake - and there is something exciting about feeling her own mortality. Her stance as she faces him is strong, unflinching.
One could almost believe this woman doesn't hesitate before any obstacle in her life.)
Guard up. (He may not have a visible weapon, but her gaze is wary, assessing him.) We don't want any accidents.

Noctis doesn't seem like the typical warrior either. He's a bit smaller for a male, with slender shoulders and a slim build. His clothing comprises of a black tee and pants that end mid-calf. However, he has the power of the Lucis line behind him, a power augmented by training from the strongest warriors. The prince may have guards, but he was taught how to fight as well.
A confident smirk that borders on arrogant crosses across his face. Noctis' right hand extends before small specks surround his arm. The process seems instant, and when it's clear, there's a sword in his hand.)
Who says I'm off guard?

What kind of fighting do you do?

You can watch after you participate.

But I guess I can't turn down a lady. Nonlethal weapons are fine, right?
(Text)
(Lady. Huh. That will take some getting used to.)
Fine for sparring, but we are close to the wall. I'd rather you be able to protect yourself.
(Text)
(Text)
I don't know. I'd rather be safe than sorry.
How old are you anyway?
(Text)
What's dangerous out there? Aside from you, of course.
Changing your mind?
(Text)
You're evading.
(Text)
Just wondering how it factors into the decision process. Seventeen.

Luckily, you pass the mark. Barely.

[[Action tag or handwave?]]
(Action always and forever~)
I hope you found something good.
(action)
Had to borrow on short notice. Hope you don't mind if we go with what's familiar for the spar. [He slides his bo staff out.]
(action)
(Dropping her sword, she picks up a staff instead. The knife Serah had given her is at her belt, ready to be drawn. It isn't magical, but it's her only connection to her little sister. That makes it damn special.)
(action)
Weapons master, huh? [Tim puts the dagger away and drops into ready stance, staff out.] Ladies first.
(action)
I should be after this long. (Digging her feet into the ground, she pushes off the grass and dirt, charging towards him to clash their staffs together.) Statements like that would have pissed me off once!
(action)
Not a lot of gentlemen where you come from? [He tilts his staff, trying to angle it under her guard.]
(action)
(Crystal slumbers are fun like that. Claire aims a a few quick hits at his hands for his daring. No, she doesn't hold it against him at all!)
I've met three? Maybe four?
(action)
[Hey, all's fair in fights and war. Tim jerks back, flipping to put some space between them and sweeping the staff low at her feet.] That many? Must be a nice world.
