How do you feel about Japanese food? It's what I'm most familiar with, but my former coach was Italian and he showed me a few simple dishes when I was training with him.

I'm still pretty new to this city so I remember it mostly by sight, not street names. I'm not doing anything right now, if you don't mind someone taking you there.

there's some take out places in new york
but i don't get over there as often as i used to

and yeah i guess i could do that.

[A few seconds? He must be pretty close by already, at least that's what Yuuri figures. He grabs his keys and then makes his way over to the meeting spot.

Once he's there, Yuuri realizes he doesn't actually know what the guy looks like...nor did he introduce himself. Sighing at his own forgetfulness, Yuuri pulls out his phone, just about to text him again.]

[ indeed, a few seconds. in fact, he's already at the meeting spot when yuuri arrives, watching from the shadows for whomever he's supposed to meet. when he spots an asian man glancing around before pulling out a phone, nico figures this must be the guy and makes himself known by stepping into the light. ]

You didn't tell me your name. But I suppose I didn't tell you mine either.

[ lifts a hand to shake. ]

I'm Nico. The Ghost King.

[Nico had hidden himself so well that Yuuri can't hide the flinch of surprise when he suddenly appears. Then, he looks sheepish.]

I just realized that when I got down here. I'm Yuuri. [Yuuri's grip is gentle when he takes Nico's hand in greeting, but the look he gives him is full of curiosity.] The Ghost King?

[ by now, nico's gotten so used to people flinching when he appears that he doesn't even sigh. he just slides his hands into the pockets of his bomber jacket and shrugs. ]
