I was thinking about this recently and now I'm curious. Do you believe in tarot readings? You know, the prediction of future?

And if you heard that someone saw your future and it had a chance to end badly, would you believe them? Or would you try to change your future?

P.S. If someone knows a good fishing spot, please message me. I met a new orange friend and fish is the way to please him.

I've never heard of "tarot" readings before, but, speaking from personal experience, if I were to learn of a possible future, I would most certainly do everything I could to change it.

Also, depending on how badly this claimed future were to end, I would feel not believing them too costly to risk.

Tarot readings are done with cards that have designated major and minor arcana houses and they are often used to predict the future.

A year ago, I was told my future couldn't be seen because it was shrouded in fog. It seems that I have thwarted the danger for the time being, but my future still seems to be unknown. Neither bad nor good and I don't know what to think about it.

"Arcana", most likely related to the "arcane". The unknown. Clever name.

Well, that could have several interpretations. If we were to remain true to this card analogy, all decks have suits, and all decks have Jokers. The Joker represents the unknown, the changeable. Perhaps you are this Joker in Fate's plan. Or, as is more likely, it is your fate not to know your fate.

Is it so bad, not knowing? What if you did know, and it was something awful that awaited you, but that awful event paved the way for several wonderful events for others. Would you still want to avoid it?

Given proper circumstances everything can change. That's what I came to realize in the past year.

Of course I wouldn't. But I would be lying if I wouldn't look for a way to change it while keeping the others safe. Death should be the last option and I would choose it if there really was no other way.

And that makes you a noble person.

...so I was to assume this "bad end" was death? I was assuming any sort of misfortune.

I was told that there are worse fates than death. Having your future lost completely, yourself lost in the fog of lies treachery, never finding your true path. Having people close to you die instead of you while the only thing you can do is watch.
But yes, in a sense, death is a basis for it.

There certainly are, it's true. Having those you love not die as they suffer...even worse.

And so you wish to know what the future holds so as to change it, should it come to that?

Yes, that's precisely what I want. I know that in hindsight it sounds selfish but with what I went through recently

I just want to know if there are ways to either prevent it or somehow change the outcome

That's very noble, but you must know the future you're seeing is only one path. Just the knowing changes it.

I heard the saying "It's not about the path but how you walk it". I truly hope that me knowing about even little bits of what awaits me could change the outcome.

It's impossible not to, really. If you were walking over hazardous terrain, knowing there was a crevasse coming up in the path, would you not divert to avoid it?
