I was thinking about this recently and now I'm curious. Do you believe in tarot readings? You know, the prediction of future?

And if you heard that someone saw your future and it had a chance to end badly, would you believe them? Or would you try to change your future?

P.S. If someone knows a good fishing spot, please message me. I met a new orange friend and fish is the way to please him.

I attended a psychic reading once out of curiosity. I can't say that any of the predictions came true.

And the future is always changing. You would have to know every single detail that led you to that bad end in order to do anything, and I honestly don't think it's worth worrying about when you should just live your life.

Really? That's unfortunate. Maybe the man was a scammer? There are a lot of people like that. It can be really hard to tell who is telling the truth.

It is true that future is always changing but someone telling you the eventual outcome is a bit frightening.

Most psychics are scammers. There's only one person I know who can see the future, and as I understand it, he doesn't even see the full picture.

You know the story of Oedipus? It shows how trying to change the future can actually make what you fear come to pass. My advice on the subject? Just live your life and don't focus so much on one potential outcome.

I see. The man I interacted with was being rather cryptic, but I could gouge that "tower brings destruction" description is a huge red flag.

Thank you for the advice. I try to do my best but sometimes I just get stuck in my head, thinking about this because it was somewhat good part of my life.

Not necessarily. Destruction isn't always a bad thing.

I Know about getting stuck in your own head believe me. But focusing our mind on something like this would just prevent you from enjoying things. You'd always be worried that your next decision would be the one to lead you down that path.

You mean "you have to destroy so you could rebuild"? I could see that. I'm just worried about the people that might get caught in my "destruction".

I will try my best not to think about it. I am far away from home right now so I suppose my future on Earth is put on the hold.

You can't really know what'll happen until it does.

I suppose you're right. I just hope that when it does happen, I will have the option and choice to fix things- if they need fixing.

It's just that- well, it's really hard to put it into words ^^!

Of course. I just don't worry so much about perfection. The whole point of a scientist is to experiment, and experiments are hardly perfect.

You are a scientist? That's amazing! Not many people get interested in science these days

That seems a shame. To me, it's endlessly fascinating.

I suppose our school didn't have enough equipment to interest people in science. Just a simple text doesn't keep people's attention.

Ugh. I cringe to think what the science department at Storybrooke's school must have looked like.

Yes, it's not really exciting. That's why usually the grades in chemistry and physics are always the lowest amongst the student population. Colorful pictures and diagrams stop being interesting after two weeks.

That's incredibly sad.
