Is there any easy place to practice deflecting and stopping projectiles. Like... I guess something with a pitching machine? Whatever I'm blocking has to be dangerous but not lethal. Cause I'm not crazy.

*Lauren the last way to practice your powers was a pregnant woman who tosses sawblades at you and your friends. That's a little crazy.*

I guess if people wanna fire beanbag rounds at me that'd be fine too, but I don't really want to inconvenience anyone if I can practice on my own.

Um, thanks, more people I can have help me practice the less anyone is inconvenienced. I'm guessing you're really strong?

Indeed! I'm fairly blessed in terms of strength and durability.

And in fact, I've helped train students in working with their powers, albeit only just recently in my career; I'm always willing to aid in one's quirk improvement. Though I suppose it's probably called something else in your world!

My name is All Might, dear girl! And - well, in my world, powers are referred to as quirks!

*Which she doesn't trust, because there aren't that many mutant scientists (as opposed to scientists studying mutants) getting published.*

That's how it began initially! Quite a long time ago, really.

But over time numbers increased to the point they are now. One percent, though... Even when I was a boy, it was a much higher rate. It must feel a bit lonely sometimes, having such a small group...!

[It's something he's certainly got his eye on, this factoid.]

Yeah, you could say it's lonely...

Well — fear not about being lonely here. Why?

Because I'm here! Along with some truly wonderful and accepting people, I assure you, people just like you and I. They'll be more than happy to help you feel a little more accepted in the community.

*So on the one hand that's a very eccentric and loud response. Which is a bit unnerving. But in that endearing way that feels really nice. So Lauren can't help but smile.*
