[ it's late, but the stars are shining and the moon is big enough to reveal that nico is once again in the graveyard, sitting atop a gravestone as he munches some fries. his legs swing back and forth. with his mouth full, he pauses and regards the feed. ]
I've been doing a lot of thinking. Mostly about the future. So we're stuck here for five years, right? How many people are planning on staying after that? If so, why?
I mean... [ another bite of fries and he swallows this time before continuing. ] What do people miss the most about their original homes and is it enough to want to go back? If there was one thing about this place that could make you stay, what would it be?
I dunno. Anyway- Loki, I need to make sure I have Wednesday night off. And Jason, I need some advice. Also, Ed, I have a few questions about your alchemy.

[Willa is sitting on a couch with her knee pulled to her chest when she replies.]
Assuming we actually get the chance to stay here that long. I don't know. Would I be able to go to other peoples worlds? That might be kind of cool.

I've never really thought about that. I've always just thought about getting home where my friends and family are. I guess if we could visit other people's worlds, that'd be pretty awesome.

Maybe I meet someone that's worth staying with. They I gotta figure out where to go.
no subject
Maybe. So far, I've only met a few and even then, I'd still want to return home.

[Willa doesn't, not any more anyway.]

[ but still, hazel is someone, family, and all he has left aside from his father. and he can't expect the god of the underworld to be warm and comforting. ]

[She's annoyed but Willa knows that she'll never be able to see her mom again. Even if she does go back. She isn't apart of the family and her uncle isn't going to be okay with that.]
So does that mean you don't like it here or is it a buying time sorta thing?

One, where do you work?
Two, what do you mean the people who have come before us? Like the people who have been here longer?
no subject
And two, I meant dead people. You know, people that were here long before we were.

[Plus nightclubs are fun and useful.]
You can talk to dead people?
[She absolutely believes him but she wants more information. Who wouldn't be curious about that?]
no subject
[ they are indeed, but as the bouncer, nico uses the undead to make sure people don't screw around too much. ]
I do. I'm kind of what you might consider a necromancer. At least, that's what I am in mortal parlance.

[Ignoring the fact that he's talking about a Norse God, the phrase 'one of' is also very odd and Willa is searching for some sort of explanation though she doesn't think she's going to get it.]
That sounds intense. Do the dead have a lot to say?
no subject
[ the one that spurned his love, but nico doesn't mention that. ]
They can, sometimes. Depends a bit on how they died.
no subject
[Willa exhales a soft breath.]
Yeah, I guess that makes sense. They can't really talk if there tongues been cut out or something.

I saw a dead body once. Kind of gave me the willies but I can imagine that's something you get used too. You'll have to show me sometime, if you're up to that sort of thing.
