I've been doing a lot of thinking. Mostly about the future. So we're stuck here for five years, right? How many people are planning on staying after that? If so, why?

I mean... [ another bite of fries and he swallows this time before continuing. ] What do people miss the most about their original homes and is it enough to want to go back? If there was one thing about this place that could make you stay, what would it be?

That's... kind of sad. Even though my only family lives far away from me back home, at least I could always dream visit her.

[ It's a simple if cold response to the sentiment. He doesn't have any family, he can count the number of friends he has on one hand, and he hasn't considered a great deal of his future when his profession is less than legal. ]

[ knowing just how lonely life can be without friends or family, nico still can't help but feel a pang of sympathy for the man. ]

I mean I can travel through dreams. Navigate through them, put people into deep dreams. Not as well as a child of Hypnos, maybe, but still.

[ Arthur's had to live with that for so long it's not something he really dwells on a great deal. It was easier when he had jobs to take up his attention. Which is part of what has him silent on the other end of the line. ]

[ trying to describe his powers is a bit difficult, especially when he's talking to mortals. he pauses for a moment, chewing idly on a french fry as he tries to figure out the best way to explain. ]

It's just... something I can do. Death is kind of my area of expertise. Death and dreams are not so different. It's like there's a borderland between the two and I just... know the way.

You must be new here. There are gods here too, though none of my family. Most are Norse.

I've been here for about eight months. Some people have been here longer. So, yeah, you're new.

There's quite a few of them. Not so many of us Greeks, though.
