I've been doing a lot of thinking. Mostly about the future. So we're stuck here for five years, right? How many people are planning on staying after that? If so, why?

I mean... [ another bite of fries and he swallows this time before continuing. ] What do people miss the most about their original homes and is it enough to want to go back? If there was one thing about this place that could make you stay, what would it be?

I dunno. Anyway- Loki, I need to make sure I have Wednesday night off. And Jason, I need some advice. Also, Ed, I have a few questions about your alchemy.

[ sort of. nico's been trying to get over the bitterness he feels re: loki and finding that every time he talks to tj, he feels a hell of a lot better. ]

i went shopping specifically for it
had a little help from a friend, of course
and it's not my usual style
but i've been assured i look like a knockout

maybe one day get married
(i heard it's legal now)
maybe become a trainer for half-bloods
at the camp back home
teach them how to survive being a demigod

[TJ was totally the jealous type. He's fine now but he'd run his mouth if he thought someone was going to take away something he wanted for himself. It wasn't a healthy response but he's never really been any good at that. It helps stave off any future jealous behavior to know that they're just friends now.]

That's my second favorite place.

[ nico is unaware of what's going on in tj's head. but if he knew that tj might get jealous, he'd be flattered. no one's ever been jealous of him being with someone before. it's always been him jealous of others. ]

what if i wore nothing?

[ because that also sounds like a good idea. he's got the body of a teenager, after all. his libido isn't stunted at all by how long he's lived. ]

not too hard, i assume.
at least, it wasn't when i went through training.
there's always the chance they'll get hurt
but we have great healers too.
the longer a demigod lives, the more scars they'll have
and that's an achievement.

a friend from my world just arrived tho,
