first dance → video. un: e.midford. backdated to like noon, mid-january.

[ the cool thing about her primary device being a smartphone is that after a few days, Lizzie pretty much has it down. so, thankfully, no one gets stuck staring at an eyeball on the network today. nope, instead they get Lizzie, in her pink and frilly glory, looking like sunshine glorified as usual. for a 'new' arrival, she's in a strangely good mood.' ]

I beg pardon that it took me this long to introduce myself! This place has simply been such a change...

[ right, right. composing herself like the lady she is. ]

My name is Elizabeth Ethel Cordelia Midford, daughter of the leader of the British Knights! I'm here with my fiance, Ciel Phantomhive! I hope he's been getting along with everyone well! He can be a bit dour, but he's really very sweet!

Ah, of course, introducing myself isn't the only reason I'm doing this. You see...It seems I've found myself without Paula, my handmaid. Between this and how...different...the fashion is in this world than my own...I seem to be having a spot of trouble with my clothing lately, including dressing. Ah, buttons are quite difficult you see... I was hoping to find a lady who might be able to assist me. I'm sure I could find a way to provide compensation.

[ read: i don't know how to dress myself, i'm scandalized by shorts, and everyone i know is a dude, what do? ]

Also...I can't believe we're on the moon! Who would ever have thought it would be possible, to be on the moon? It sounds so romantic, it's like a dream! [ Lizzie sighs dreamily. ] It certainly wasn't possible at home, but imagine... Ciel and I walking on the moon together...!

[ aaaand apparently no one has to endure starry-eyed Lizzie for long, because she's suddenly cutting the feed with an excited call of Ciel's name, no warning. Poor Ciel. ]

[Gyda's in the library when she gets the message, and only manages to hide her smirk.] You're nearly a grown woman and yet you need assistance getting dressed?

[Even her mother who was wife of an Earl didn't need servants to dress-atleast, not unless she was suiting for battle. Coming from a time when clothes were held up with laces, pins and brooches, items like zippers and buttons weren't too difficult.]

[She didn't expect that sort of answer. The girl was young so why was she worried about looking old.] Where I'm from, children, even from wealthy families, learn to dress themselves as soon as they are able to walk. You're nearly an adult and yet you still require someone to help you dress.
