[ With no introduction... ]
back home, one of the main things I used to do was train people to control their abilities - i've spent quite a number of years teaching myself control through various techniques, as it's pretty essential for me to keep things in check.
in a bid to feel useful to the community, interest check:
anyone want training sessions? whether you have abilities you're struggling with, or are just looking to get some more control over yourself, I can help.
[Or at least, try to. ]

[ Not that John lacks in confidence, but he is curious. ]

i'm still trying to make a name for myself but y'know
it's going alright so far

good luck
i'm sure boosting *your* image in whatever club scene this place has will do wonders to people with self-confidence issues.
[ Okay, he couldn't help the sarcasm. Her idea was far-fetched, and self-centered, and he couldn't see how that would help anyone long-term. ]

i enjoy spreading the joy of music to people
it helped me find my confidence, maybe it can help someone else too
get some girls to let their hair down, dance their hearts out
and guys, too! I don't discriminate
i just like to see people let loose and have a good time
music's a pretty powerful thing tho
at least, for me it is
no subject
music is a powerful tool, for sure
We just have different ideas about how to help, but if it works, it works, and that's all that matters.
no subject
but hopefully it's for some
and hey, different ways of helping just means more people are reached
right?
that's not a bad thing
no subject
where are you intending to play, by the way?
no subject
that's a good question
right now i've just been trying to get some small gigs but no clubs have taken me up on an offer yet
i'm still too new I think, don't got a lot of experience just yet
no subject
never been much for clubbing, though, I'll admit. I prefer a good concert
no subject
It's pretty neat.
I don't think there's a huge club scene, but there's enough of one
oh man same tho
i mean, like. clubs have their appeal but
i loved concerts back home
especially when I got to watch instead of work and, like, when I wasn't even in the arena but like on the hill overlooking the action with a bunch of other broke bums like me jamming out
sorry that got really specific and intense
again, music's just
kind of my thing

whatever floats your boat

I'll mix something for you sometime
or just play my guitar!
guitar music is good for meditation, right?
no subject
[ He's not sure what kind of music she's planning on mixing for him, but he's pretty set when it comes to what he likes. ]
meditation is about what works for you
no subject
uh
i mean I could try... to mix some metal stuff for you
that's not really my genre but i do love a challenge
no subject
i think i'd rather not? i'm kind of difficult when it comes to music
you don't have to do anything for me, i'm good
no subject
okay
that's cool
[ Never has there ever been so obviously a reason of 'that's cool' that means it is not, in fact, cool. It hurts her musician pride a little, but- She gets it. Some people are particular. ]
let me know if you change your mind tho
i'm always happy for the experience
no subject
yeah, sure. i'm sure i'll see you perform one day.
no subject
i'll even do a shout-out for you
it's pretty cool, knowing the DJ
