[When Thor switches the camera on, it's momentarily engulfed by his face before he sits himself back. Now that the frame isn't obscured, it's apparent that he's not the only one there. Both Lokis, Angela and Sif sit either side of him, all situated around a booth at some sort of diner.

Thor, naturally, is the first to start talking.]

It has come to light in one way or another that we could be considered Gods. [He's keeping it vague on purpose.] It is true, in a sense, that we are are not unlike higher beings. We are not mortals and we have powers and abilities beyond what many would be considered normal. The myths and the legends, however, are not precisely true.

[He just wanted to clear that up.] As such, we thought it would be prudent to offer our services in times of need. For missions or protections, we can be of use in many situations. You need only ask.

[He says we, but he largely means I.

Angela, for her part, doesn't look as opposed to the idea as she probably could.]

I will add that I will require payment for my services, but that can be negotiated at a later time.

[ She glances around the table at her siblings as if daring them to counter her.

The younger Loki leans into shot, finger raised. ]

Should you require an actual god, we come in that flavour too.

[ Angela has gotten used to being more forthcoming with her history, but that doesn't mean she likes telling it. ]

I was raised in Heven amongst the Angels, but in truth I was an Asgardian all along.

Heaven as in God with the "big G"?

[hevenly]

No. That heaven is a myth, just as there are myths about Asgardians as gods. There is no God with a big G.

That makes things simpler. The Greek/Roman Gods, at least, aren't myths.

You sound sure of this.

[deathkid]

I wouldn't be alive if they weren't. My father is Hades.

[hevenly]

I see. [ Said in a very "good for you" way. This information has little impact on Angela whatsoever. ]

Then you are heir to his underworld?

[deathkid]

In a way. Though Father will outlive me because I'm only a demigod. Still, I am considered a prince of sorts in his realm. I am also the King of Ghosts.

[hevenly]

[ Angela smirks in a way which indicates she's about to tell a joke, which may or may not be funny. ]

Well met, King of Ghosts. I am Angela, Queen of Hel.

I thought Hela was queen of Hel.

[ nico's pretty familiar with other underworlds. comes with the territory. he even met anubis once in new orleans while digging up information about hazel. ]

She was. I bested her in combat and took her crown.

[ But not her literal crown. Have you seen that headdress thing? It's ridiculous. And Angela doesn't look good in hats. ]

[deathkid]

I did the same to Minos, the former King of Ghosts.

[hevenly]

Then we are both more worthy of our titles than our predecessors.

[deathkid]

I agree. But why did you choose to fight Hela?

[hevenly]

My beloved had died and was in Hel, and I sought to free her.

[deathkid]

That's... A very noble thing to do.

[ then again, he'd broken percy out of his father's prison for the same reason: love. ]

[hevenly]

In doing so, I also freed the souls of the dead Angels, who had been cursed to serve as Hela's slaves for all eternity.

[ But lbr, she mainly did it for Sera. ]

[deathkid]

Noble and kind. You try to come across as a mean person, but... You're not really.

[hevenly]

[ That surprises Angela. It's the sort of observation Sera would make, although Sera would also throw in a joke at Angela's expense. ]

I... have a reputation to protect.

As an angel or as an Asguardian?

[hevenly]

As a hunter for hire. Neither Asgard nor Heven hold any claim over me now.

[ Because she's exiled from both realms. ]

[deathkid]

Mm, sometimes working alone is best anyway.

[ he says that, but he knows he gets lonely. he's not sure the same holds for her. ]

[hevenly]

Mm, perhaps.

[ She has a long history of working alone as Leader of the Hunt, though in recent years she has found herself pleased to work alongside the Guardians of the Galaxy when their paths have crossed. ]
