[ The question might seem like a frivolous one, but the answers should actually be pretty informative, and it's way more fun than just asking people to describe what this place is really like. ]

I have no idea what those places are, have you really been to all of them?

*Chandra doesn't really get fiction, that involves reading and she doesn't do a lot of that.*

This place is like any other big city, less magic, more technology. But it has all the stuff you find.

No no no, see, they're not real places, they're just, um. Fake places. From movies.

Where I'm from, big cities don't have a lot of magic. Or, y'know, any. And neither do small cities. Or anywhere! Basically what I'm saying is any level of magic is like, way more magic than I'm used to.

Well, it's kinda like technology only it makes a lot less sense and it's a lot harder to explain.

[ No idea what a movie is... good god he really is on another planet. As for the difference she outlines between magic and technology, it sounds logical enough to him. It's easiest for him to imagine magic as nothing more than very, very advanced science - so far advanced that even the people using it might not understand the laws behind it. But there have to be laws - because there always are. ]

Wait, like... you can control fire?

[ Some internal translation is needed, but despite the name plucked right out of his high-school daydreams and reading material, is that really all that different from what Ronnie and Stein could do, as Firestorm? ]

Controlling fire isn't really how that works. But I do have some power over it.

Neat, huh? Freaked me out when I was twelve, freaked the Consul soldiers a bit more though.

So how does it work? I mean, if you don't mind me asking. 'Cause I'm super curious but also pretty sure that's a really personal question and you don't know me or anything.

[ Cisco stares at the bit of the video where her hand lights up. It reminds him of the electricity that comes off Barry when he's running, those traces of the speedforce - but different. ]

The reason I'm curious is- well, partly because it's awesome, but also because I work with metahumans where I'm from. Humans with abilities like controlling the weather, or nuclear fission, or being able to turn their bodies into gas, that sort of stuff. So it's relevant to my interests.

I don't mind being asked, but... I'm really bad at explaining things. I just... can make fire, and melt metals, and my hair can turn into fire. It's just sorta me.

*Chandra is not the one to explain things. Ever.*

Well, anyone with magic isn't common on my plane, but in the rest of the blind eternities there are all sorts of people with magics like mine. Not always fire, some do telepathy, and talking to worlds, and... whatever Gids's indestructibility is. But I'm just a human, not whatever a metahuman is. And my friend, well, I think she's my friend, she's kinda bad at the whole talking thing or the feelings thing, anyway, not important, Nissa is an Elf. And we've met a spirit dragon this one time. My friends and I were planning to fight another dragon before I ended up here.

...Sorry, none of that really explains how my fire works.

Well... you had me at spirit dragon. Actually you had me way before that. We should definitely get a coffee someday 'cause I wanna hear all about your uh- plane. [ He'd been about to say 'universe' but decided at the last moment to mirror her word for it. ] They do have coffee here, right?

Um, sure, except I don't exactly drink coffee. I tried it once and, um...

The coffee shop ended up on fire and my friend had a lot of new paperwork to do.
