[ In Riverview, a new building has appeared! It is large, opulent with statues standing at the roofs, representing the royal family of Asgard (sans Thor, Thor doesn’t get a statue, sorry. Maybe he’ll get a child’s rendition of a painting inside the halls. Later). There is a choir of children standing on the steps, dressed in white robes. Who immediately burst into this song ]

Prince Loki, handsome is he, Loki Odinson
That physique! How can I speak, weak at the knees
Well get on out in that square
Adjust your helm and prepare
To gawk and grovel and stare at Prince Loki

[ When the song reaches its crescendo, the choir parts at the middle as Loki descends from the steps, dressed in black leathers and a golden horned helm, waving at the choir with a beatific smile. He stops at the end of the steps as the song finishes. ]

Thank you. This little ceremony is to show that Odin’s Odeon, named so after my dearly very much departed father. May he rest in . . . peace. This theatre is open to the public and people are more than welcome to submit any kind of works they wish to present. Plays, performances, you name it and most likely we will allow it. Our upcoming performance is The Tragedie of Loki of Asgard and the casting call is open to all. We will also be having an open house party hosted by Taako and myself. I hope to see you all there.

[ Loki pauses, pleased at the wrap up before glancing at the expectant children behind him. With a faint sigh, he snaps his fingers and there are sweets falling from the sky and children screeching in delight before the feed ends. ]

It would be an interesting way to learn more about Asgard. Very little of its literature is left after all.

[ Loki is probably the only one left with that knowledge. It's a depressing thought. ]

Hm, that is true. And I do like learning.

[ He raises his eyebrows, tilting his head a little. ] Well, to be fair there is plenty of mythos surrounding Norse gods back where I'm from, and on most other versions of Earth too, I'd wager. Obviously not all of it is the truth, but still.

[ Loki smiles. ]

I tend not to overshadow the myths with the truth. I am fond of those stories and prefer them to stand on their own merit.

The truth doesn't lose anything to the myths either, it seems.

[ Loki has told him a lot of crazy stories, and really, some of them are just as fantastic as the myths. ]

There are a lot of stories, though. You could say there are dozens of truths out there about Norse gods. Or dozens of lies, depending on how you look at it.

[ Loki shrugs. Lies, truths, none of them matter anymore. ]

I've heard plenty. And I would not say this play is the full truth.

Really? Damn, and here I was hoping for a thoroughly faithful biopic.

[ Fine it's a play so it's technically not a 'biopic', but let's not be pedantic here alright. ]
