He keeps things strictly business most of the time, but he is making this addition to the network from his communal housing room. He looks grave and upset, but he is clearly wanting those who might wish to know the information that he has obtained.]

To anyone who knew and was friends with Miss Ava Orlova, I regret to have you inform you all that she has returned back through the portal. While we had only begun to build a relationship, she was the closest person to having one of my daughters back, and I will miss her.

[He sighs heavily and folds his hands together, managing a grief-stricken smile.]

If anyone has any stories of her exploits, I would very much value hearing about them.

[ Ren's expression shifts to one of greater interest as he watches Pierce drop the act. ]

You're wise to do it. People are too free with their sentimentality. [ THEY GIVE EVERYTHING AWAY IN A HEARTBEAT.

[Pierce knows he's wise, and he also knows how to play the game. He's been doing it for quite some time, but he doesn't allow his act to drop often or readily.

Ren just happens to be a special case.]

They are. Miss Orlova would have made an excellent asset, but in her passing out of focus early, it seems fitting to use that to greatest effect all the same.

She hid inside of her a monster she was terrified of losing control of.

[ Honestly, it reminds him of Snoke, and their conversations... only minus the sneering cruelty, so hey. Pierce is way ahead of his old master already.

And oh, there it is, his pesky empathy. Now it makes an appearance, even as he's trying to prove that others are sentimental, and he is not. ] Perhaps, if she were to return, I could offer her guidance. [ Because that 'monster' hits so close to home. ]

[There was no need for rudeness or name calling, not in a situation like this. Very few that he could think of would call him to resorting to that kind of tactic. Kill them with kindness and sharp wit his nana would say.]

You would do that? That is very appreciated. You're a better man than people give you credit for, Kylo.

She had a certain... electric personality. She was also trained as a highly effective spy.

[ His brow furrows a bit at that compliment. ]

Have people been talking to you about me?

[ He hums. ] A spy. [ Not quite what he's got experience with, though he supposes that's neither here nor there, as the girl's left the moon. ] I'm sure there are others with the same skillset here.

I garnered such an impression when we first spoke. And if anyone has spoken about it, it wasn't to me.

[He knows that Ren has particular abilities but previously a real lack of focus on where to go with them. He has also surmised that the last mentor is not someone worth comparing himself to much, if at all.]

If she returns, I need her to stop fearing her power. I need her to be able to embrace and learn to control it. It will be beneficial for all.

[ He nods. That's fair enough, a perfectly reasonable conclusion. As are Pierce's desires for his protege, should she return. ]

I understand. [ All too well. ]

You're the only one that I feel I can trust to do this if she does return. You're something very special.

[He was glad that they had found each other after all. Together, they would likely do great things.]

[Pierce smiled like hearing that was a gift. Like he could entirely rely on Ren to assist him with such matters.]

I know you won't, and that's why you're such a great help to me. As always, if there is anything that I can help you with, you know my door is always open.
