He keeps things strictly business most of the time, but he is making this addition to the network from his communal housing room. To anyone who knew and was friends with Miss Ava Orlova, I regret to have you inform you all that she has returned back through the portal. While we had only begun to build a relationship, she was the closest person to having one of my daughters back, and I will miss her.

[He sighs heavily and folds his hands together, managing a grief-stricken smile.]

She would have to be in order to carry you down the stairs. You don't seem the type to enjoy being carted around.

[From what he had seen, Ivar seemed to value a sense of independence, to be no less than anyone else. It was a valuable sense of self, likely brought home by Viking society treating Ivar rather differently.]

Yes, potential death by smoke inhalation would certainly encourage someone to find a new abode.

[He knew that Ivar had a temper, and Viking society was rough on all levels. There was likely very little appreciation for any kind of humiliation, even if it was to safe a life.]

[Yep, he's just flat out admitting it. A bad temper plus eternal anger and a prickly sense of pride equaled a Viking likely to lash out.]

Glad to be back after being gone. I accomplished just about everything I wanted to while I was away. I'm king now.
