[The video begins in the swampier edges of the jungle. Thanks to the flooding, the water is up to Thor's waist and he has mud up his arms and on his face. He holds the camera up at a selfie angle, smiling into it and waving with a muddy hand.]

If anybody happens to know where a big, fat crocodile went, let me know. He's got a scar over his eye and his legs are very stumpy. Embarrassingly stumpy.

[Thor looks about him, holding the camera out so the audience can really appreciate the view of the overflowing river and not the fact that he's wearing a wet singlet.]

And if you've lost anything in the floods, let me know and I'll keep my eye out for-

[He cuts himself off when he catches sight of something making ripples on the water. His arm whips out of camera, snatching the tail of a snake that he brings into view.]

Look at this! Did you know snakes could swim?



[The snake hisses, flicking its tongue at Thor even as it coils around Thor's arm in a lithe, slow crawl. When Thor's hold lessens though, the snake rears back slightly like a mirage before vanishing and revealing a grinning Loki who very casually slides a small dagger into Thor's side.]

Oh dear. Was that me?

[Thor grunts, mostly in surprise but there's pain in it. The little blades sting, and it's a miracle that he can hold onto his camera (lopsidedly) when he drops to his knees and grips his side.]

You've done it now, brother. [Thor growls, with a clenched jaw.] It's all going dark. Dark and cold. I see a light, it's calling me. I'll bleed out before they find me.

[And with his final breath, he musters the strength to try kick Loki into the mud along with him.]

He tried to kill me nearly as often as I tried to kill him. Granted, his sanity was failing him as his body decayed and I was merely fulfilling a promise to him that he didn't remember.

That sounds normal to me.

It was normal for us. We are two halves of one whole. He needs me to exist and I don't want to be alone.

That seems terribly unhealthy.

[ Even more than Thor and Loki. ]

Blame god. [Or not since he is dead in their world.] He thought to separate a great power into twins.

[dothelokimotion]

I try not to blame Gods without good reason, being one myself.

[heavenfell]

There was only one in my universe. [She gives a delicate shrug.] We are part of the race meant to serve him.

[dothelokimotion]

[ Ah. He's passingly familiar. ]

Angels, then. I always thought it was gauche, creating a race merely for servitude.

[heavenfell]

Servitude sounds more honorable than "play thing". [None of them mattered to him in the end.] The majority of us were nothing more than experiments.

[dothelokimotion]

That sounds about right.

[ Loki, you don't know anything about Christian gods. ]

What's it like being a god?

[dothelokimotion]

I could not fully say. I have always been a God and thus, have no room for measurement.

[heavenfell]

Well said. [She nearly smirks.] I am glad you know how to have fun.

[dothelokimotion]

Of course. I would be a poor God of Mischief if I lacked a sense of humour.

[heavenfell]

So that's what you represent. Hm. [Makes sense.] What does your brother represent?

[dothelokimotion]

He is the God of Thunder.

[heavenfell]

Mischief and Thunder. You are quite a pair.

You wouldn't happen to be...Norse...would you?

[dothelokimotion]

The Norsemen worshipped us when the world was young.

But we are not Norse.

[heavenfell]

But they are the civilization who praised your name.

[She has never been worshipped - mainly because she has spent a long time like this. Oh and heaven wanted her forgotten.

Does it count if demons worship you?]

[dothelokimotion]

I would look back more carefully.

[ Loki was revered, but they certainly didn't praise his name or want to do much with him. ]

Uh oh. Were you more the...arch-nemesis? [She likes him even more for it.]

[ An eyebrow goes up. ]

If you're familiar, you should know that.

I spent my lifetimes sleeping. What I saw was...short-lived. [Like her human bodies.]

How so?

I was punished for leaving my prison. I entered willingly and I left willingly. They encased my body in a crystal and sent my soul to Earth to be reincarnated over and over again.
