001 Video - un - Recording

[Shuri is sitting on her assigned bed when she flicks on the device she'd been given. She doesn't mind sharing a room with other people but it's a first for her and she's adjusting to the change. It's a lot louder here than the palace of Wakanda and she currently has no lab to retreat to.]

This looks like it'll be my home for awhile so I thought it best to give a general hello. My name is Shuri.

[She really isn't interested in the festival that's going on but she has a few questions that can only be answered by those who have been here for awhile.] I have a few questions.

First I'd like to talk to those who work in technical fields. I'm the head of the R&D division in Wakanda and I'd like to do something similar here. [It's the best way for her to help out and no matter where Shuri is, she wants to help those around her.] I was told when I arrived that there are many labs here but I'd like to hear from you, which is the best.

I'm also looking for the Avengers. If any are listening, I believe you know my brother T'Challa, King of Wakanda. [She hasn't met many of the Avengers but she assumes that some of them are here since people are being swept away to a moon via a portal.]

Plenty of R&D going on around the city, I'm sure you can take your pick.

What do you need Avengers for? General headcount? That might take a while.

That's the idea. I want to see where I am most helpful. I'm sure I have skills that others don't have.

My brother spoke of the Avengers as people who would help. We have that in common.

[And if people are being abducted then surely the Avengers are there.]

Looks like you're already talking to the right person to figure out where you'd be most useful.

[Tony knows a lot of what's going on on the tech front.]

That's usually what we do. What specifically were you looking for help with?

If you mean Tony, yes, but there are others who seem to know about the different aspects of technology here.

[It's interesting to see what people are focusing on.]

I'm looking for the place I can do the most good.

Stark's still the best one to talk to. I'd put money on him knowing the most about what's going on on the tech front.

[Bucky always has faith in Tony. Any Tony (mostly any Tony).]

Take your pick. Perimeter Guard, the various R&D departments, you can do good for this place from just about any of those.

I have a list of questions for him though I hope whatever he makes is better than what I've seen so far.

[It isn't her fault that she isn't impressed by his suit.]

He's a genius with that stuff. He does great work, and if you can't see that, I don't know what to tell you except that you're blind.

[Oops, he's a little defensive of his friend.]

Perimeter Guard, Search and Rescue primarily.

[That's a pretty strong reaction for just a friend but whatever.]

I'm not saying he doesn't do great work but he lacks something in his work. Everyone can improve, every machine and every person.

Plenty of people would disagree with that. Sure everyone can improve, and he does, all the time. He's done a lot for this place.
