I'm a religious person, so I suppose that could be considered fairy tales to some.

Many cultures have beliefs surrounding curses or malicious magic. Whether or not they can be removed and how they are depends entirely on the culture itself. Some only end because of the death of the targets. Of course, this is mostly just stories.

It could, though many would argue vehemently against religion being belittled as such.

Death is not an option, I'm afraid. The target must live and thrive. Therefore I need a better method.

It's not belittling it. Religion is filled with lessons and stories. It's the core of it, the faith, that matters.

I said it's a possibility that Death is the only thing that ends it. It depends on the curse. What do you know about where it came from?
