Yeah, I know it can be, but the good thing is that when we do get returned home, it's to the very second that we left. So at least they're not going to be missing you too badly in return?

And there are some awesome people here to be friends with. Have you met Lucy yet?

I always try to be and there's no reason to sugar coat it. It sucks. This sucks.

Sometimes we forget how much kids need to hear that it sucks. It'll get better, and you can definitely get through it, but it still sucks a lot in the moment.
