I have a feeling I am not the only one, but I feel like death warmed over. Whatever this is is really annoying and pretty much nothing helps. I think I've hit the point of exhaustion where I just can't sleep anymore.

[In the background there's the sound of one of the lions, purring very close to the phone]

[There's a very audible huff and the metallic sound of the lion stalking away]

Yeah, me too. Well, I don't. At least I hope I won't. I feel pretty miserable right now though.

I can only imagine. You'd been in such good health, what with all those runs I saw you out on. Seems to me like everyone who fell ill would only recover quickly if they'd started out as you had. Well and strong and all that.

Yeah, there doesn't seem to be any reason for it. Normally being in shape means things don't hit you as hard. This one basically knocked me flat in a day. I really wonder what it is that something could do that.

I blame it on this world. Seems to be the trend. Anything too strange happens? It was the quarantine. [He tilts a head into his palm.] How are those pets taking care of you?

Well not Black. Keith is running errands for me and getting me food and all of that. Black is staying with me.

That's good. I would have offered if you hadn't had someone to make the trip for you. I don't suppose you need any entertainment or some such, as bad as you're feeling?

I appreciate the thought. Well, not so much entertainment, but distraction. From sitting around and thinking about how bad I feel.

[He's not so worried about catching what the man has, but he's... concerned, oddly enough.] Oh? What sort of distraction would you like? I have books, if you're up for reading, or I can sit with you.

If you want to come over and talk, I wouldn't say no. Just expect that Black is going to make sure you don't get too close.

Quick entrance? I guess as long as he knows you are coming.

[Since there used to be someone here who could step out of shadows, he wouldn't be surprised if someone else can do something like that too]

[He'd like not to startle the animals, machine or not, or the roommates, if he can help it. He does a good enough job weirding people out when he wants to.]

[One step and then he's there, at the front door, as promised. He'll announce his presence with a gentle knock.]

[Well, that was surprising. He was there quick. Shiro groaned, first starting trying to get off the couch, but Black beat him there, wandering over to the door. Undertaker would hear some fumbling and then Shiro called]

[The perks of being a grim reaper. He steps into the room, careful not to startle something that might be waiting for him to enter and try to pounce on him. He could move aside easily, but he knows what protective dogs can be like when their masters are ill.]

[Just Black sitting there waiting for him and Black knew he was coming at this point. Youta happened to be out with Keith at the moment so he wasn't around. Black lead the way over to Shiro, the robot lion moving to essentially keep Undertaker from getting too close. Yes, protective lion]
