So I'm new here and I figured this might be the best place to ask around for suggestions. What are some of your favorite distractions here? Places, things to do... I'm open to anything.

[He just kind of needs any sort of distraction really bad at the moment. While there's work to do and getting to know his surroundings... he could use something more involved than any of that, something that ca help him stop thinking for five minutes. Keeping busy seems like the best use of his time than any of the other options... which basically consists of moping by himself somewhere. Not all that productive.]

And just one more thing. Has anyone arrived here later than other people they knew back home? Friends, significant others, family... Not in the 'I came here from the future' sense, but in the 'I arrived late to the city and they seem to have made a new life without me' one. Was it hard to find your place with them again or did you even try? I know it's natural that people would change over time, that maybe they'd have a life that doesn't even include you, but... I have no idea how to deal with it. It feels kind of like a bad dream I'm managing to make worse.

[He huffs out a laugh at the question. Well--]

Um. I liked basketball, comics, games... Nerdy stuff. I guess I should branch out a little more while I'm here.

I don't know. We could always wear name-tags.

[Freya laughs softly.]

OH! Comics are awesome. One thing this place doesn't have is a comic book store. It makes me very sad. There is an arcade... I think. I might also be making that up. There are sports but team sports are harder with so many different worlds. I'm a fan of tag.

Hey, we'll save that when we make team shirts.

[He lets out a laugh of his own.]

And-- I actually found a little place that has a few comics with a friend of mine. I could show you one day? I'd love to see the arcade if there is one.

[He pauses.] Now, tag. I'm pretty good at that.

Oooo, I like the way you think.

[They can be bright orange shirts that blind passersby.]

Oh yes! I'd love that. I miss comics. [She has a few with her but she doesn't share those. They're normally carted around for sentimental reasons.]

I'll find it. Oh oh! what about Red Rover? I think that's what that game was called.

[See? He likes that idea. The brighter the orange and the more clashing their names? The better.]

Then, let me know when you're free and I'd be glad to take you. [You can never have too many comics-loving friends, okay. Teddy is always eager to make more.

You know, it'd be fun to set up a game for a lot of people to participate in... hard to organize maybe, but it's always more fun with a lot of people.

I don't really have a schedule and I suck at both making and keeping plans. So how about you just hit me up after work one day and we'll go.

Sure... what time do you usually get off?

between 2 and 3 pm.
