So I'm new here and I figured this might be the best place to ask around for suggestions. What are some of your favorite distractions here? Places, things to do... I'm open to anything.
[He just kind of needs any sort of distraction really bad at the moment. While there's work to do and getting to know his surroundings... he could use something more involved than any of that, something that ca help him stop thinking for five minutes. Keeping busy seems like the best use of his time than any of the other options... which basically consists of moping by himself somewhere. Not all that productive.]
[FILTERED FROM: @WICCAN]
And just one more thing. Has anyone arrived here later than other people they knew back home? Friends, significant others, family... Not in the 'I came here from the future' sense, but in the 'I arrived late to the city and they seem to have made a new life without me' one. Was it hard to find your place with them again or did you even try? I know it's natural that people would change over time, that maybe they'd have a life that doesn't even include you, but... I have no idea how to deal with it. It feels kind of like a bad dream I'm managing to make worse.

[ Wally has an actual life here that is wholly his. Back in his own world, he has nothing going on beyond the hero costume as he's nothing more than a forgotten memory. ]
Anyway, there's plenty of ways to distract yourself here. We even got the amusement park up and running. I'm not exactly sure what you're interested in, but I'm sure you can find some way to bide your time while you're here.

<small[Teddy would have probably given a lot for a place far away from anyone trying to get him to go out and claim his title of prince... or king now, maybe.]
Yeah-- you're right. I guess I have time to explore old hobbies that got kinda put to the side back home. Maybe I can find some game consoles too.

[ Is staying here really just another way he is running from having to deal with his problems back home like he had been doing ever since he emerged from the Speed Force? Or, is it a clean slate for him to build a life without having the weight of everything holding him down? He's not really sure what the answer is to that question. ]
There are definitely game consoles here. Maybe some you've heard of and some you haven't. I know the kids have a few.
private
[He's very well aware of reality warping problems... and they're not easy or fun to deal with.]
The kids? Do you have kids?
private
[ He got a little Speed Force luck being able to somehow jolt memories of himself back into the minds of Barry and his fellow Titans, but that's been about the extent of it. ]
Well, they're not my kids. I'm just helping look after them because their parents aren't here. I know their folks back home.
private
[Although he still feels uneasy, knowing that kids appear here alone.]
Is that part of why you want to stay here?
private
[ Of course Jason has let it be known he'd be able to handle everything should Wally decide to leave when the opportunity came about. ]
But I know I'm going to have to go home eventually. It's just... nice to be able to figure things out away from everything.
private
[If Teddy wasn't miserably reminded of his ex, he might even like it here. It's just-- complicated.]
I hope you get the chance to figure out what you need to though, before you go home.
private
[ A life he wouldn't trade for anything despite all of the difficulties (new and old) he has come up against. ]
Thanks. I'm not really sure what happens when we leave here, but I plan to make the most of my stay. [ He's trying, anyway. ] Every second is a gift and all that jazz.
private
[Once a superhero always a superhero, right?]
Yeah. I mean-- here or back home, life is kind of too short, right? You have to try to make the most of it.
private
[ Okay, so maybe he's being a little extreme there. ]
Now all we got to do is put our own advice into practice. That's always been the hard part for me.
[ The last part is said as a joke but there is certainly some truth to it. ]
private
[Maybe a little, but-- normalcy is hard to adjust to.]
I think that's the hard part for most people. It's easy to give advice, harder to follow it yourself, right?
private
[ Even if it's just repairing a damage building for someone in under a minute or offering to provide the labor for free to restaurants looking to renovate their kitchen. ]
You can say that again. And just because you know what you should do doesn't necessarily mean you know how to do it.
private
[Teddy has still found small ways to help people, at least, and that's enough. He likes being able to feel useful, make a difference...]
Maybe the break is good, right? Gives us plenty of time to work it out at least. Or maybe plenty of time. Does anyone know when they're going home at all?
private
[ Which sucked because Wally was preoccupied outside the wall when Dick Grayson chose to leave. His friend had left him a letter, but it wasn't the same as getting to say goodbye in person since he has no idea when he'll see his friend again. ]
It's basically a luck of the draw sort of thing as far as I know.
private
Sorry about your friend though.
[Teddy can't say he's not looking forward to maybe going home some day soon, if only to get out of this awkward situation he's landed in, but... getting his hopes up isn't a good idea probably.
