002 Video - un; Recording [Backdated to June 2nd]

[It isn't clear where Shuri is except that she's focused on the screen and whatever it is that's behind it. When she speaks her voice is measured though a little distracted.]

I'm glad to see the illness from last month has been cured. It appears as if I had fallen into a coma for the last few days, for those who I was speaking too and working with, I'm sorry. [She's a little annoyed about that but moving forward.]

Anyway, after all this I decided what I'd like to focus my time on. I'm getting together materials so if anyone has anything I can use or a reliable vendor please let me know. I'm also doing freelance to help fund my work as well as small explorations outside of the city to find new materials.

Loki. I need to speak to you about what we had talked about earlier last month.

[Shuri finally looks at the screen and flashes a smile.]

[She smiles.] I'm Shuri. Similar but a little different. I want to be able to handle an illness like that but also be able to use magic and machines together. Even that virus had both as separate entities that didn't always work together.

That would probably be a good thing to have, honestly, because if nothing else this just showed where our blind spots are when it comes to things like this.

There are metals and materials on this moon that aren't on Earth as well as materials that have been brought here from other worlds. I hope to find something that will help me make a few different things but I need to see what's out there first.

I'd not realised it wasn't only sentient beings who'd been brought here.

None at all, actually. I've been here only a short time.

Do you want too? I can make a list of some things you might be looking for. I'd need samples of whatever you're able to find and then locations so I can go back and get more if the material is what I need.

She isn't sure if her disappearance had even been noticed but she would rather tell people she's alright anyway and explain what had happened.]

I don't know what's out there but I hope to find a metal that might be able to efficiently transfer energy. The alternative would be useful too. I assume that some of the materials I'm looking for might be volatile on the surface of the moon and would most likely be found in caves if they exist at all.

Dodger is going to pause for a moment as he tries to figure out exactly how he would even know if a metal transfers energy well... but alas, having never gone to school his science knowledge is patchy at best.]

Copper's good for that sorta thing, ain't it? If you're talking about electricity.

[At least, he's pretty sure most wires are made of copper.]

Not just electricity but magic too. I have copper here though it isn't the safest when it comes to conducting power. When it comes to electricity nickle is better anyway.

I'm looking for something with a lower resistance and different molecular structure.
