[ The recent events have prompted Stan to be rather more quiet and reclusive than he is normally and he's even been mostly ignoring those he knows well. Too many things were reminding him negatively of Derry and he didn't particularly like facing that fear.

But it's about time to talk about something, anything. ]

If you had to guess, what do you think would be the most likely way you’ll die?

Why?

I was built, or I suppose humans would say born, to fight, for my goddess specifically. There is no other reason for my being here. It is not that I think I am not worthy of more but more that...I am fine with dying in such a way. To me it would be an honor to do so.

Oh. I see... There's really no other reason?

I also enjoy a good fight. It gets one's blood pumping, it is quite enjoyable to fight against worthy adversaries. It is no fun to have a cheap win.

And why are you asking and thinking of such things? Life is too short for most people here to be worrying about death. You should just enjoy life and make what you will of it.

I guess that sort of makes sense. I don't really like fighting all that much... but I'm not very good at it.

Just a thing I think about a lot, I guess... I can't always avoid it.

If you wish to learn how to fight there are many here who would be willing to teach you, myself included.

[ He just has to remember that humans are super fragile and he can't go hardcore. ]

That is why I dislike the peacefulness of this place. It allows for one's mind to wander all too often. That is not always a good thing either. ]

I don't really know if I want to know how to fight. I mean, I know that I don't like fighting.

Maybe that's true. My friends used to give me a good balance at home. They're better at having fun and being kids.
