Had you asked this some weeks ago, I would have said either burned alive at a pyre, or tortured to death by witch hunters.

Alternatively; bored to death in a rotting cabin in the middle of nowhere, my flesh gnawed by bedbugs and other filthy, disgusting creatures.

I won't lie, the pain I felt was indescribable. It hurt just to breathe my last breaths.

I've got mixed feelings about it, actually. While I'm glad to not be six feet under, I'm disappointed that none of my friends arrived with me. It just doesn't feel right that I was the only one who made it here.

I was built, or I suppose humans would say born, to fight, for my goddess specifically. There is no other reason for my being here. It is not that I think I am not worthy of more but more that...I am fine with dying in such a way. To me it would be an honor to do so.
