Really? A world with the power to bring people from all sorts of worlds, even those that may not be of the Christian faith. I doubt the city budget could allow the building of places of worship for every one of them, and they certainly could not prefer one over the other or risk rioting.

What one believes or disbelieves is hardly of note, excepting of course they wish to do us harm.

That is a woefully simplistic way to think of it. Faith is important.

I prefer to think of it as pragmatic. [He couldn't see it, but her expression darkens, and she pauses a moment before continuing.] Faith is important, but I have known those who were strong in their faith, and yet it wasn't enough.

In my world, our enemies are the Undead..zombies. There are some who believe that their faith is strong enough to keep them safe, but it is always the last mistake they make.
