[ Good whatever-fucking-time-it-is-now Riverview! You are being graced with the not-so-rare sight of one Tony Stark after spending too much time in the perimeter defence office throwing himself into work and, if you are to go by the state of his hair and the few smudges of grease on his face, perhaps throwing himself into some of the machinery that can be seen strewn about the place. (It really doesn't look any better from the last time you saw it, Riverview, still a chaotic mess).
With a twitch of his mouth, Tony settles his chin on his folded hands and peers into the feed, eyebrow cocked in a way that made him look equal parts insane and amused.]
So, I have been digging into some random things that I have been able to get my hands on as of late and, overall I have to say I am very impressed with the tech in this place. I mean, sure interdimensional portal and all that, but have you seen some of their basic routeing systems? Well, beyond the shitty ones that like to die and not work and--
[ Shit, wait. There was a reason he was doing this, right.
Tony blinks a few times, shakes his head, and continues.]
Point is, there is a lot I can dig into, lots of things that I can make, but only if I have the parts. So, here's the deal; whoever can bring me scraps of machines and computers, tech that seems mostly useless, please do. In return, I will be more than willing to work with, well, anyone that wants something that is a little harder to come by here.
[ Pushing back, Tony leans back in the chair he is sitting in and runs his hands through his hair.]
While I did say I was out of the weapons manufacturing back home, I can make exceptions here, so if there is something you want in particular, let me know. Within reason, of course.
[ There is a flash of a grin as he leans back in, a quick wink, before the feed cuts out. ]

video;
That would be useful, the might be able to find some interesting things too with their size.

[Babysit the mice for her sometime?]

Why, Miss Maximoff, are you trying to get me to mouse sit? I mean, if they are more helpful than some of my older bots, they are more than welcome.
no subject
[Look at her expression, Tony. Isn't she so sweet and innocent and entirely without ulterior motive?]
If it's something along the lines of sort or untangling things they'll be very helpful, and I'll tell them they've earned cupcakes for their efforts. You'll have to set very clear rules with them regarding behavior in your workshop.
[Or the little buggers will get excited and run rampant and might use other things they find to accessorize with.]
no subject
Never, Miss. Maximoff, never. Though they sound like that might actually be useful to me. They will be able to untangle wires and... sorting small pieces of scrap. Or bolts! You know, perhaps the mice sitting won't be too bad. They won't try to sing or anything, will they?
[ he doesn't know much about them, but with the way that she's trying to get them out of her hair, Tony can't be too careful.]
How are they at following diagrams?
no subject
[And there's that cheeky smile again.]
Complicated diagrams may be too much of course but you can always try and see the extent of their intelligence and capability. Their paws seem to be...more nimble? Agile than normal mouse paws. They may be able to do more than we realized with the right resources.
[As he'll see when they show up in little outfits they've made all their own from scraps of cloth and feathers and beads and whatever else they've happened upon in Riverview.]
no subject
[ he is joking, but seriously, what kind of rules? are they going to be mad if he breaks the rules? because Tony has never really been all that good at following rules himself okay. ]
Alright, so rules, some simple diagrams of things I might want them to rewire, and sorting. Sounds simple enough for me to know that it is probably going to end in disaster of some sort.
[ but at least he sounds cheerful about it? ]

I'll stay a while and help you get the hang of it. They're quite easy to manage and eager to please, I promise. I wouldn't have suggested it if I didn't think so, I promise.
[All it takes is establishing the dos and don'ts and the mice will scurry around like they stepped out of a Disney movie.]
And if it really does end in disaster then I'll owe you.
no subject
Well, that is kind of you. Perhaps they will even be useful in keeping myself on track with things as well. But, if I get as much scrap as I am hoping, they might actually be incredibly useful to be, so thank you, Wanda.
[ he gives her a flash a smile, a real one. ]
Here is to hoping that one thing in my life manages to not end in disaster, I mean, there has to be something right?
no subject
[Everything in her life has ended in disaster. Her parents. Her brother. Her time with the Avengers. Even her attempt to gain power to change her life and the lives of others have led her down a path to greater destruction, the end of the only place she ever considered home.]
I'm sure everything will work out fine. This doesn't seem like a particularly risky endeavor and with all of the help you'll undoubtedly get it might take some active effort to turn it all to disaster.
no subject
[ does everything end in disaster for him? maybe not everything, but there is a lot of disaster that follows him around. like that giant dog that follows you home even though really don't have room for it in your life or something.]
Here is to hoping that, perhaps you can swing by the office when you have some time, bring the micelings with you and we can set up some rules for the insanity that I am sure will commence, sound like a plan?
no subject
Until then, Tony.
[With a little smile she signs off.]
