[ Good whatever-fucking-time-it-is-now Riverview! You are being graced with the not-so-rare sight of one Tony Stark after spending too much time in the perimeter defence office throwing himself into work and, if you are to go by the state of his hair and the few smudges of grease on his face, perhaps throwing himself into some of the machinery that can be seen strewn about the place. (It really doesn't look any better from the last time you saw it, Riverview, still a chaotic mess).
With a twitch of his mouth, Tony settles his chin on his folded hands and peers into the feed, eyebrow cocked in a way that made him look equal parts insane and amused.]
So, I have been digging into some random things that I have been able to get my hands on as of late and, overall I have to say I am very impressed with the tech in this place. I mean, sure interdimensional portal and all that, but have you seen some of their basic routeing systems? Well, beyond the shitty ones that like to die and not work and--
[ Shit, wait. There was a reason he was doing this, right.
Tony blinks a few times, shakes his head, and continues.]
Point is, there is a lot I can dig into, lots of things that I can make, but only if I have the parts. So, here's the deal; whoever can bring me scraps of machines and computers, tech that seems mostly useless, please do. In return, I will be more than willing to work with, well, anyone that wants something that is a little harder to come by here.
[ Pushing back, Tony leans back in the chair he is sitting in and runs his hands through his hair.]
While I did say I was out of the weapons manufacturing back home, I can make exceptions here, so if there is something you want in particular, let me know. Within reason, of course.
[ There is a flash of a grin as he leans back in, a quick wink, before the feed cuts out. ]

but i appreciate your sass, plus one to charisma for you. you can totally call me mr. naked, but the name is tony.

[Yeah she sort of tagged that one on just to be an asshole. She is charming though, tyvm for recognizing that simple, salient fact. Truth is, he's reminding her very much of one of her closest friends and that is absolutely cause to engage in some Playful Dickery.]
hullo tony, i'm shai. do you have any plans for policing the use of these weapons you are offering to theoretically make (within reason)? or are you relying on the good intentions of everything the cat's dragged in here?
[In all honesty she doesn't give a shit if he makes them or if people misuse them, she is far and away from being that altruistic. But: call her curious. She wants to know if there are contingencies in place.]

[ Tony can appreciate people who are sassy assholes, in fact, he tends to hoard them in his life in all honesty. they speak his language and he doesn't feel like he has to pull out one of the many faces of Tony Stark to have a conversation. ]
pleasure to meet you, shai. and i have vague ideas regarding the barest bones of a moral ai. well, perhaps less of an ai more of a compass. i might also just focus on armour over even defensive tools. i have long since learned the lesson of having good faith in others.

i've actually never heard that one before, but you get an a+ for effort. does being your favourite get me any special party favours? i'm very keen on tea.
[Near every species of what she likes is extinct, but. You know. One compromises.]
that begs the question, how does your morality stack up against everyone else's? would you be able to design an ai that accounts for all possible variants across all possible worlds? for example it may be well within the cultural norms where i'm from to kill a fellow in honourable combat for insulting my drapes, ergo...

[ you would think that he is joking, but he isn't. ]
the fun part of it being monitored by an ai though is that my morality wouldn't come into question, you would gain the idea of morality through a logarithm that accounted for the most widely understood moral lines and then go from there. granted, seeing that typed out now makes me realize this is probably asking for some kind of disaster. so perhaps just armour and teapots then.

[she knows a couple Eccentric Geniuses, it's cool. she's learned to never assume they're joking.]
you do realize you could just neatly corner the market on, say, sex toys instead of having to either/or it. who's to say you can't make armour and teapots (protocols allowing) and other things. i should think that would better appeal to someone going by mr. naked ;)
no subject
[ that is a good life lesson right there.]
and I have been saying that forever! man, but my board of directors says that apparently making sex toys, no matter how green the energy, would somehow slander the company name. which... well no. i still have quite a few designs though, so if you want one i can help you out there ; )

[#teaminsufferable right here, folks.]
well, unless i miss my guess your board of directors can't possibly be here. time to get cracking on that i think ;)
i'd certainly be willing to test a product or two.
