How does one get a cat to leave them alone?

Cats are counterintuitive to everything. As are most housepets.

What is the point?

Of a pet?

That is one good question, yes.

Companionship. Some animals are more preferable to some people.

I do not see why.

Because some humans are idiots. Apo, is not.

Animals can be idiots.

They make up for their idiocy.

I fail to see how this cat can make up for anything.

The cat is smart. It gets in wherever you try to hide.

It is a nuisance.

So is Alex, but we keep her.

She is not a nuisance.

Clearly, you don't know her as well as you think. She takes pride in being a nuisance.

As do cats.
