I apologize for being missing in action for a while there. Just... things happened and I needed to get used to this.
Is anyone out there good with robotics of any sort? I have a bit of a problem and could really use a hand.
[Oh, if people knew there was a joke in that statement...]

Did you seriously just- [He shook his head.] Nevermind. I should have expected that.
[ action ]
I'd be surprised if you didn't. You've been around me how long?
Re: [ action ]
No, you're right. I should have.
[He brought Shiro his part of the lunch he'd been working on. If anything, having only one arm at the moment had been a pretty good way at keeping Shiro out of the kitchen...]
So, do you think anyone out there can help? I mean, Ed and Cisco are gone... and I'm not sure if there's anyone else. Maybe Bucky. But, I'm not sure what he does about his arm if it breaks.
[ action ]
I hope so. I was kind of hoping someone here in Quarantine. I have to though, I'll see if one of the locals can help with it.
[It's not the option he prefers though]
Re: [ action ]
Yeah... Fingers crossed, right?
[He gave Shiro a weak smile, what had happened between them still weighing a bit heavy on his conscience.]
[ action ]
[He smiled back]
You only did what you had to do.
Re: [ action ]
I know. [He sighed.] I just... I keep second guessing everything, wondering what could have been done differently, if there was something that happened that could have been avoided... anything.

Yeah no he guesses it immediately. Why are there so many dudes with robot arms in this town, though? "More than one" already blew his mind, and now we've got another?]
ask edi . she did good work on something of mine a couple weeks ago
voice
Edi? I'll have to do that. Thanks for the suggestion. What sort of work did she do for you if you don't mind me asking?
no subject
And... he does kind of mind him asking, just on principle. But it's relevant, and people actually believe him about his weirdness here, so...]
my left arm is mechanical
it got damaged awhile back , she fixed it
no subject
Then yeah she should be able to help. My right arm is... or was mechanical. I received one of those canisters with memories from home and my arm disappeared.
no subject
what
no subject
But apparently they cause physical changes too. My teammate has a scar he didn't have before and I lost my arm and my hair went completely white.

At least there are a lot of people with crazy science skills.
Voice
I remember there were a few people who I had met before, but apparently they have left. I'm sure I'll find someone though.
no subject
Should I bring over more food that you can just microwave? Until you're armed again?
no subject
That would be nice. I know Keith likes them too. Mostly at the moment because I don't have to hurt myself making dinner.
no subject
But I don't ask people who can make or fix metal arms. It just isn't what comes up.
no subject
That's fine. It would be weird if you did go around asking people that.

text; @E.D.I.
[And, scanning these other transmissions, EDI knows your problem without being told— still, better to be polite.]
How can I assist you?
voice
You are? Great! I appreciate it.
I am missing almost all of my right arm. It was a prosthetic that only covered passed the elbow before, but now it's pretty much to the shoulder.
So yeah, literally do need a hand.
no subject
With the resources on hand, I am capable of only limited materials fabrication, but I will see what I can do. Would you be willing to lend a hand in procuring supplies?
[Too subtle? Too subtle. More puns.]
Where would it be handy to meet you?
no subject
Well, that would leave me disarmed, but I think I can manage.
[He also has a robot lion at the house to help carry for him]
I appreciate anything that might make it easier.
We could meet here if that works.
[If she agrees, he'll give her the address]
no subject
That should be sufficient. I will meet you there. Is now a good time?
no subject
Now would be perfect.
[Not like he has anything else to do]
