getting there! but yeah mostly it's just lots of baby steps for a long time and then sometimes really big steps but not usually

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i'm pretty sure i'd come back out sooner than that just because nothing is ever totally stationary in space so eventually we'd move apart and i'd come back then? after the first burning don't think i'd get my nerves back either just from the constant. yeah. all that. until it was over.

it's been my experience that every sentient race has at least one thing in common. easy enough to build on until there's common ground. of course, it helps when both races want peace, as opposed to any of the sundry alternatives. plenty of those.

heavenly bodies in general might be a hard pass at this point. start small. space stations!

oh yeah in that case space stations are kind of where we're at, some prep for when we may or may not inevitably destroy our planet and may need to vacate because that's a totally lovely thought

i'd consider it but at the speed we can gather information nowadays and the time it would take to really set anything long-lasting in motion it'd definitely put all my secrecy to bed for the rest of eternity
