Some things are better assumed. Gives you hope. What's the point in going up against something if you know right out of the gate it can't die?

I think being completely immortal would take the fun out of life. Take vampires. We can live forever, sure, but we can also die. Makes the fun that much more fun.

yeah sometimes there's just no point to getting out of bed because you can go experience life some other time or just skip a century or whatever

but at least there's always something new happening if you go looking for it

Dunno. It's easy enough to brush it off as being related. Seen loads of people pass themselves off as their own kin. Seen enough family resemblances for that to be doable.

there's that but i'd find it really awkward to pretend being my own kids' brother or cousin or something

[ It's already hard enough having Cain as a parent, much less having him stick around related to them in another fashion. And to be his own nephew he'd have to give his identities a sibling and that... well, it's just not something he's desperate enough to do yet. ]

But still doable. I knew plenty of types that after a bit would go off and move to a new place and say they were Bobby jr or something. Dad died in a fire, boo hoo, wow you certainly have his eyes.
