[so … rey is missing. he's tried to check on her, found some of her belongings (and took them for safekeeping in fear of the worst…), but no her. with hux lurking around, it's really hard not to fear the worst. but he's gonna keep it together and make a nice normal network post everything is a-ok here it's fuckin' fine!!]

How many of you are from a place with normalized space travel? The more people I talk to, the more I realize it's rare. I was thinking, maybe if I had enough people who were interested and had the right knowledge … who knows what could happen. We could put together a ship, go exploring. This wouldn't be an instant thing, I know it'd take a lot of time and work. But if other people are interested, we could try and make it happen.

And I was just wondering: has anyone seen Rey around? She's new, too, so I don't know how many people would actually know her … but she was living on the fourth floor in communal housing. Brown hair, carried around a staff sometimes?

I think so. [he wants to believe that she'll be okay back in their own world, but it occurs to him that the last thing she remembered was being captured by someone in a mask??? so um ... maybe not.]

Do you know what happens to people when they go back through the portal? Do they go back to where they were before?

I'm not really sure. [ Poe doesn't seem like the type to prefer a nicer lie. ]

I mean the welcome brochure makes it pretty clear what the brass has in mind, but as far as I can tell we don't have any proof yet. No one's left and come back a story.

Hm. I hate to say that all there is to do is hope for the best, but it doesn't seem like there are many other options.

Yeah. I'm working on that one. [ As much as he's far from ready to take their explanation at face value, he doesn't exactly have a better solution to offer just now. He feels bad. Poe is a nice guy. Probably hurting for reminders of home as much as Dick is.

They tend to run a little faster than a car. It's nothing like any kind of flying, but it has it's own charm.

Oh! It looks like a speeder bike. I've rode those before, although I imagine the mechanics are a little different. I'd love to try it out.
