Hello everyone. My name is Clark. I'll try and keep this brief.

Firstly, I've drawn up a blank list and placed one on the bulletin board on each housing floor. If those with medical expertise feel comfortable, they can put their name, residence here, and — if they have one — specialisation, in case of an emergency. We have several residents who aren't from the same point in time, so if you'd like to volunteer to update someone's medical knowledge, please mark your name with an asterisk.

Secondly, ah-- [ a bit of a laugh. ] I'm from Kansas, which some of you might recognise as being host to some pretty bad weather. Now, I'm not going to say I'm paranoid, but-- I like to think ahead. So, I've made up some kits with some of the usual survival paraphernalia back home and distributed them between floors. Feel free to help yourselves if you need them.

[ No one has to use them, but he’d rather everyone knows they're available. ]

Not that I'm limited to that, of course. Big fan of necromancy if I'm being honest, lotta damaging spells, great for fucking up monsters.

Can everyone use magic, or is it something you're born with?

[ He may be writing this down. ]

Everyone is able to learn it, at least wizardly shit.

[That's the technical term.]

You wanna be a warlock and you have to make a shitty deal with a powerful creature, and who knows what the fuck is going on with sorcerers.

[He just got an 18 on his Arcana check and this is the helpful information he gives.]

And clerics, they're like priests?

Yeah, so they get their magic from their god if their god isn't an asshole.

[He talks a lot of shit about clerics for someone who's frequently had their ass saved by one.]

[ It's not a brand of affection Clark's familiar with. He can just tell there's not any real heat to those words. ]

I think I understand. Is there a limit to your ability? We might have need of it in an emergency.

I only got so many spell slots, my man!

[Which is basically like mana, except with some gentle fourth wall breaking.]

Haven't run out yet, though, so let me worry about that.

[And he's always got cantrips, even if they aren't as effective.]

Sure thing, I've got nothing better to do.

[This isn't the same as growing up on the streets of Fearun, but he knows the value in making himself needed.]

Now that is a tricky one. Fearun is the continent, but technically I live on the fake moon.

[He says this as if it's the most normal shit.]

[He's kind of trying to figure that one out, before shrugging (despite the fact Clark can't see it).]

If you're part of a secret organisation that operates from the moon, sure it is! Most people don't know about it though.

What's Fearun like? If you don't mind my asking.

I'm a wizard, not a geographer. You gotta be more specific than that, it's all normal to me.

[Which is to say, there's a lot of shit about Fearun and he doesn't really know where the differences would start and end. So he's not going to dive into an extended history and geography lesson, that's boring, but Clark wants to know certain things he's happy to share.]
