[ Those viewing the network will be greeted with the sight of a young man with red hair and green eyes wearing a tight-lipped smile on his face. He's really trying to keep it together. He's been taken away from his family and friends again. ]

I'm starting to think I'm the punchline to the worst joke in the universe. Though I have to admit this place is a step up from where I spent my last involuntary vacation.

[ Of course his last vacation consisted of him being stuck in the Speed Force for years with only his own thoughts to keep him company. ]

Since it appears I'm not going anywhere for the foreseeable future, I figured I should introduce myself. My name is Wally. [ Have a wave, people. ] I'm from Earth. Well, an Earth. I would tell you people some more about me, but I'm a pretty boring guy these days.

[ That's not exactly true. But, the purpose behind him addressing the network is to gather any information he can rather than revealing it. ]

So, what's the deal here? I know what the welcoming committee had to say, but you know how they have a habit of making things sound more grandeur than things are. [ Rather, he isn't sure just how truthful they were being. ] There was a lot of weird stuff going on back home and I just want to make sure this isn't connected somehow.

[ He sighs, running a hand through his hair. What is his life. ]

Whatever information I could get would be appreciated. [ He flashes a much more genuine smile. ] Heck, I'd settle for just knowing where the best place to get a drink is.

[ Her feigned exasperation manages to draw a sincere laugh out of him. ]

Earth sure does seem to be popular. [ Or the many versions of it. ] What's it like? Catarina, I mean.

Well it isn't much like Riverview, I can say that much. There's so much of this... technology here - we've nothing like it in Catarina. In that respect, it's a much simpler place, I suppose.

[Sieglinde doesn't know the word 'medieval' but that's probably the best descriptor for her culture's level of technology.]

But still, it's quite a lovely place. The people are jovial and friendly, and they produce some of the finest goods in the world. Our knighthood is strong, and we do our best to maintain order and keep the people of our country safe.

[Plus they have good beer.]

It's not without its problems, of course, but I'm proud to call it my home.

[ The mention of knights protecting the country and the lack of technology certainly gives the setting a medieval-type feeling. ]

Sounds nice. It must have been quite the shock for you to end up in a place like this. Having to adjust to such a completely different world must be tough.

[ He has had a difficult enough time adjusting to his own world after returning from being trapped in a dimension of cosmic energy for years. ]

It was something of a shock, but I wasn't in Catarina when I was drawn to this place.

Certain things have been difficult to adjust to, but to be honest I've mostly been pleasantly surprised by how few things are trying to kill me here. It's been a good experience, compared to Lordran.

[It's almost a shame she plans to go back.]

Things not trying to kill you is certainly a good thing. I mean, I've had my fair share of experiences with things trying to kill me.

[ Which would seemingly go against his claims of being a boring guy. ]

Dare I ask what Lordran is like?

Lordran is... A very old place, where the gods once lived. These days it's where most undead end up, sooner or later, if they don't intend to end up captured and imprisoned.

On top of that, there are countless other monstrosities that call that place home now. It's quite dangerous if you dont know how to handle yourself.

[Of course, she thinks she can handle herself well enough to do so.]

It's not a very pleasant place at all.

[ Yeah, he really shouldn't have asked. ]

I'd say so.

[ He can't leave the obvious question unasked. ]

Why did you go to Lordran? [ Sounds like she's already been. ] Not exactly a place I'd pick for an evening stroll.

[Sorry Sally. Some questions don't have simple answers.

This one, however, does: ]

Oh, I was delivering a message.

[There's more to it than that, but that's all she's gonna spill to a complete stranger right now. ]

But enough about me - you said you were familiar with such danger as well? What is it that you do for a living, Wally?

[ It must have been one important message to go through all of that just to deliver it. ]

I help people. [ How? Well, he's not quite ready to say just yet. ] And sometimes things can get a little out of hand.

Oh.

[Well, that doesn't explain a lot.]

That's unfortunate to hear. How is it that you help these people, that things get out of hand so easily?

[ It really didn't. He's just not quite ready to broadcast the whole "I'm a superhero" thing yet. ]

The how is kind of hard to explain. [ Absolutely not true. ] But, I guess you could say some of the people I come up against have powerful weapons.
