I'm starting to think I'm the punchline to the worst joke in the universe. Though I have to admit this place is a step up from where I spent my last involuntary vacation.

[ Of course his last vacation consisted of him being stuck in the Speed Force for years with only his own thoughts to keep him company. ]

Since it appears I'm not going anywhere for the foreseeable future, I figured I should introduce myself. My name is Wally. [ Have a wave, people. ] I'm from Earth. Well, an Earth. I would tell you people some more about me, but I'm a pretty boring guy these days.

[ That's not exactly true. But, the purpose behind him addressing the network is to gather any information he can rather than revealing it. ]

So, what's the deal here? I know what the welcoming committee had to say, but you know how they have a habit of making things sound more grandeur than things are. [ Rather, he isn't sure just how truthful they were being. ] There was a lot of weird stuff going on back home and I just want to make sure this isn't connected somehow.

[ He sighs, running a hand through his hair. What is his life. ]

Whatever information I could get would be appreciated. [ He flashes a much more genuine smile. ] Heck, I'd settle for just knowing where the best place to get a drink is.

I know I'm probably just being paranoid, but you haven't heard anyone mention that things didn't quite add up or make much sense back home before they ended up here, have you?

[ He knows all of this is most likely one giant coincidence, but he can't dismiss the idea that someone deliberately sent him here just yet. ]

Mm, I think that is dependent on factors that have little to do with here. "Things" not adding up or making sense? ( He laughs, light, shaking his head, all unseen. ) Enough of life can feel that way, time to time. I'm going to guess you mean the situation didn't feel like it was what should have been within the realm of normal for your home, and in that case, no, I haven't heard too much about those kinds of cases. I do know that the means we're brought here links us back to the universe we were pulled from, by the best estimates of all those who work and study the phenomena. The only place you can really send someone is where they were before arriving here.

As for a good place to drink, I suppose that depends what you're looking for. None of the beer here is like what we used to drink back in Catarina.

Goodness, so many people are from that place! [She sounds exasperated, but the tone of her voice makes it clear it's mostly an act. Seriously though, everyone and there grandma is from one earth or another in Riverview.] No, we don't call our world Earth, where I'm from.

Catarina is my country - my homeland. I miss it quite a lot.

I doubt it's connected to any one universe or reality besides this one. I'm from Earth-616, and it's probably a different Earth from yours unless you've heard of the Avengers.

I've been here a few months. I can probably answer some questions. For the record, best place to get a drink is this bar on 6th Street, near the Perimeter Guard buildings.
