[ Those viewing the network will be greeted with the sight of a young man with red hair and green eyes wearing a tight-lipped smile on his face. He's really trying to keep it together. He's been taken away from his family and friends again. ]

I'm starting to think I'm the punchline to the worst joke in the universe. Though I have to admit this place is a step up from where I spent my last involuntary vacation.

[ Of course his last vacation consisted of him being stuck in the Speed Force for years with only his own thoughts to keep him company. ]

Since it appears I'm not going anywhere for the foreseeable future, I figured I should introduce myself. My name is Wally. [ Have a wave, people. ] I'm from Earth. Well, an Earth. I would tell you people some more about me, but I'm a pretty boring guy these days.

[ That's not exactly true. But, the purpose behind him addressing the network is to gather any information he can rather than revealing it. ]

So, what's the deal here? I know what the welcoming committee had to say, but you know how they have a habit of making things sound more grandeur than things are. [ Rather, he isn't sure just how truthful they were being. ] There was a lot of weird stuff going on back home and I just want to make sure this isn't connected somehow.

[ He sighs, running a hand through his hair. What is his life. ]

Whatever information I could get would be appreciated. [ He flashes a much more genuine smile. ] Heck, I'd settle for just knowing where the best place to get a drink is.

Yeah... this is the second portal I've come across in the last few months. [Somewhat wryly-] I'm hoping this was the last time.

What about you? Was it a portal or something else for you?

Nah, there wasn't really a portal per se. It was just some sort of freak accident.

[ Getting tossed into the time-stream by a complete whack job counts as a freak accident, right? ]

It must be tough getting bounced around like that. [ It sounds like he's speaking from experience. ] I hope you have better luck in the future.

Thanks. [He sighs.]

It's not fun. [There's really no point in denying otherwise.] I'm luckier than some others, though. Some people from home are here with me.

Having friends and familiar faces around always makes things easier.

[ The longing for his own friends is obvious in his voice. ]

I'm just thankful I have other people to talk to this time.

[ He's aware that's a selfish sentiment, if people are here, then they aren't home like they should be, but he doesn't know if he could deal with the isolation again.]

[Yuuri seems to be thinking along the same lines.]

Knowing that everyone else here is in the same situation does make it a little easier to deal with. At least we're not alone in this.

[A pause, before he continues softly.] It's...nice getting to know people from so many different places, but sometimes I wish it weren't because we're all stuck here.

It's probably best if we concentrate on whatever silver linings we can get.

[ Wally obviously hasn't gotten to that point quite yet, but he imagines it will come in time. ]

I mean, everyone I've met so far has been nice enough. There's even some people I kinda know here. [ He lets out a humorless chuckle. ] I would say things could be worse, but I'm afraid someone out there would take it as a challenge.
