[It might be fitting that Lucifer's first foray into the network of the new world he'd found himself on was an inquiry for trying to fix something he'd mucked up. It might well give a good glimpse into the fact that Lucifer didn't see too much outside of what affected him and those he cared about. This fell under that umbrella.
For those watching, they'll see an adult male with a charming British accent and dark hair and eyes, smiling at the screen in an attempt to cover just how important the question was to him.]
What would be a good gift idea for someone that says something along the lines of 'Sorry I broke you'? I'm not entirely sure chocolates will cut it.
[A moment and then he realizes how that may be construed.]
Not physically broke, mind you. More... theologically and mentally.

I'm only locking this with my personal coding because you're cute. Feel like sharing now? Could you summarise this long story, if nothing else?
no subject
Summation? Got bored of Hell, came to LA, was having a good old time before running into a lovely, amazing, competent, intelligent woman who happens to be a homicide detective. She's immune to my charms, which makes sense when we found out she's actually my Dad's doing and my brother helped make her the miracle she is. I told her all along who I was, but humans are very, very good at ignoring what they don't want to see. Now I've proved it and she's...
Well. She's taking 'time'. There's other things in there to muck it all up, but long story short is that she's finally come to know that The Devil's real and I'm... not entirely sure she's taking it well.

She'll get over it if she likes you enough. My mortal did, mostly.
no subject
[That made things a bit more interesting.]
They get under your skin, don't they?
no subject
[ Sending that cheeky wink back. ]

Still, he knew better, letting out a soft huff of a laugh before nodding.]
I don't really mind it either. I suppose I'm more surprised than anything.
no subject
I'm sure, if 'under your skin' translates as her capturing your heart only to start pummelling it on the ground before you, forcing you to wait for her approval. Infuriating that you can't even be angry about it, isn't it? I wonder what that's like.
[ Falling back on his couch with a listless laugh. ]

[Loki, they could be deity bros, but don't step all over his human.]

For the record, you get all sad-eyed when you're being fussy.
[ So helpful. ]
no subject
[Wait.]
Do I? Bloody hell. Just what I need.
[It wasn't exactly a secret that he had certain feelings for a certain someone, but he thought he better at keeping it to himself than he was being lately.]
There's been a lot lately. I suppose I'm not handling it as gracefully as I'm used to.

Half-buried in comfy cushions, he peeks at Lucifer with one eye. ]
You wear sad well, rest assured. [ Slipping in an appropriately devil-may-care compliment, Loki stretches and sighs. ] Tell me more about yourself?
no subject
[The Devil brought low by a human. It was to laugh. Still, Loki looked comfortable, and Lucifer noticed his lack of cushions on his side. It wasn't fair, really.]
Of course I do. But, what would you like to know? I'll tell you right off that any of that goat nonsense is made up lies.
no subject
[ Quadrupeds aren't his thing in recent years, that was ... a stranger phase. ]
Ah, what's your favourite colour, song, and food?
[ Divine factoids can be boring, it's the personal deets Loki enjoys hoarding. They usually help to allay any suspicion directed his way too. Old habits. ]
no subject
No favorites. I enjoy too much, really. Though, I suppose black and red are my colors. Brings out my eyes.
[With a smile, he let the red flash in his eyes, wondering if Loki would find it cheeky or threatening.]

[ Unafraid (while inwardly taking curious notes) he leans back and lets his own eyes flare a keen green, briefly alight with magic. ]
Where I'm from there's this ancient Chair, it belongs to the super-duper evil and has never been sat in. All the satans of every religion gain their rank from how close they stand to it when meetings are called.
Do you suppose it would be yours?
no subject
Not that I'd want to sit in it. I left Hell for a reason. I don't want to be Lord of it. I'm not evil. Not really. Just because Dad decided that doesn't mean I have to play along.
