How likely is it that the school curriculum is going to be the same as what I just left... It's normal for things to be different from school to school, but this is [...outrageous...] kind of extreme

Things like that. Not really important, but I'm thinking about them.

Mathematics seems to be around what I expected, but I don't know what curriculum or nation or even world you're used to as far as that goes. It's still likely to be consistent. Science has moved in different ways, but many of the principles I recognise are still true. History has of course changed, between both local and pre-Quarantine, I think.

They're concrete things to wonder over. The kind you can do something about, one way or another, by asking and learning. Easier than some other thoughts.

Well, all right, they're a lot healthier, they feel a lot better, but a childhood and adolescence's worth of internalizing negative feelings has ended up making it the default. Sometimes the healthy, better-feeling thing is actually scarier.]
