[ A young man with green hair that's almost neon in brightness appears on the video feed, the angle and steadiness of the camera evidence that he does this quite a lot. His eyebrows are too perfect to not be something he maintains and his eyeliner is, as they say, quite on point. The young man's voice is probably familiar to some people around the Quarantine, although a bit younger and not muffled by a cybernetic mask and a synthetic tongue. ] Yo! Look, I don't know where exactly this place is but I'm not complaining— [ He says it like he's used to waking up in strange places he doesn't quite recognize.
He runs a hand across his chin. ] —because I'm always up for some time to get away from shit, y'know? But I gotta ask, where does everybody have fun around this place? There has to be an arcade around here, right? Or at least a good bar with cheap booze. Drop me some info, I will definitely make it worth your while.
[ The young man smiles and it approaches something playful and almost wicked. Genji Shimada was such a little shit in his youth. ]

I personally go for a quiet drink and some dancing most nights I have off. But I think there's an arcade near the edge of the city.
As for cheap booze, there are a few bars I wouldn't go in. Too... disreputable, for my taste.
*Lola you're like seventeen, and barely drink, so of course you don't go to dives.*
video;
[ Genji rubs his chin. ] Near the edge of the city, huh? This place seems bigger than I thought.

That's really not me, I prefer to stay out of too much trouble. At least if I'm on my own.
If I was going with someone else, I'm a little courageous.
*She is, after all, positively tiny.*

He rolls his shoulders and looks away as he keeps talking. ] People do tend to be braver in crowds, I'll give you that.

But if you're offering, I guess I could try a little more trouble.

Everyone there isn't worth battling with.
Are you worth going up against?
video;
[ The intimidation factor definitely helps, but he won't admit that out loud. ]
video;
Aa.
What a coincidence.
It's the same for me.
I'll give you directions.
[Meet me at the arcade for an asskicking, Genji.]
video;
[ He has no qualms about literally kicking your ass if he feels like it. ]
video;
The shortest path from the housing block to where it's set up.
[He has absolutely no reason to argue that he's not 'all talk', because only people who have more hot air than skill to show participate in that kind of thing.
He'll show Genji one hell of a show when they get there, he's certain of that.]
I'll meet you there.
It's Noiz.

Needless to say, while Reaper might close the message off in frustration and mixed feelings... Gabriel Reyes answers with a loud, barking laugh.]
Shit, kid. Who knew you were so goddamn lively after all.

It's Reyes, remember.
From back home.
[Right, so he's already getting the clue that people are... forgetting things from their past and changing how they look thanks to... SOMETHING, but...]
Unless you went and forgot in your excitement for a drink and an arcade to haunt.
@sparrow; video
[ He doesn't need a sugar daddy or anything, thanks. ] And I might as well have fun until I get outta here. [ He assumes his father is sending someone to get him anytime now. His brother is probably too busy being emotionally constipated in the dojo. ]

If you're still acting and looking like that, might bear to reason why this ain't banging any bells in that head of yours.
I'm Commander Gabriel Reyes, and I'm with Overwatch. Looks like you not only shrunk in years, but you lost hold of some of your marbles, too. [Because boy, does he have news for you. The 'you're not going home' kind.]

That depends on what your idea of 'fun' is. I am not entirely certain I would call most of the bars here decent, but I my know a few worth your time.
[ She's yet to find a place with alcohol the strength of which she might respect, but not everyone in Quarantine seems to have her tolerance or so she's found. ]
What is this 'arcade' you speak of?
@sparrow; video
[ Genji will drink anything, really, and he doesn't typically even pay for what he does. The youngest Shimada heir has many outstanding tabs around Hanamura but nobody dares to ever bring it up.
And then he looks incredulous at her question. ] Whaaaat? You from one of those cults that don't use technology or something, lady?
@the.young; video
[ They are in total agreement of this definition of 'fun,' at least, but she's still on the fence as to whether or not this person might be Genji. She trusts her ears, but the difference is so marked that she has to wonder. Then again, she was something of a troublesome terror in her own youth and remains as much depending upon who one asks.
Still. ]
I wouldn't know of them. The technology of my world isn't anywhere near as... advanced, I suppose you would say, as what you might find here. Is it really so uncommon not to have heard of this 'arcade'?
@sparrow; video
[ He runs a finger across a brow, preening a bit. ] So you don't know what video games are then, huh? I'm sure I could show you a good time. [ Yup, there it is, the flirty grin. Someone get a spray bottle. ]
@the.young; video
Could you now? I've heard it said often enough, but those sorts of words fall short of reality near as often as they're said.

and then he is, because this— this is the person he gave up his life for, more importantly gave up the clan for, and Genji had run away from it in Hanzo's absence. he's checked already, he knows that something strange is happening in Riverview and people are changing, that this is a place where anyone can be pulled from any point in their life anyway, that this might not necessarily be the Genji that betrayed the trust he left him with. it doesn't matter. he's furious just at the memory of him, enough so that his life support systems screech in protest.
(he sees why they tell him not to think about Genji for his health, now.)
the cyborg that answers in video is unrecognisable; the visor he wears is sleek and black, completely expressionless, no lights or slit to even indicate his line of sight. just a hard shell. Hanzo has never been more grateful for its cover than he is now, when he can't control his expression, can't convince himself to be flat and mechanical as he tries to be. the tremor in his voice is disguised by the synthetic reverberation of his speakers: ]
Your sense of priorities could still use some work, Genji.

he'll be quick. he'll do his damage, get his point across (although he's not sure yet what his point is) and then he can back away and just... be done with it all. ]
I think your older brother has more than the right to speak to you like that.
no subject
[ How dare this rust bucket? What is it even trying to accomplish besides pissing him off? ]
no subject
[ the point of the mask is that it never comes off and Hanzo can convince himself that he isn't human, not anymore. it feels disingenuous to take it off. but he reaches for the release along the sides of his helmet, and the visor disengages with a hiss.
Hanzo takes it in his hand. his face is only a little scarred, and perfectly recognisable; it seems that the mask isn't really needed at all for his health. without it, though, he needs to keep a neutral expression, and he sets his jaw so hard that his teeth hurt. ]
