[ A young man with green hair that's almost neon in brightness appears on the video feed, the angle and steadiness of the camera evidence that he does this quite a lot. His eyebrows are too perfect to not be something he maintains and his eyeliner is, as they say, quite on point. The young man's voice is probably familiar to some people around the Quarantine, although a bit younger and not muffled by a cybernetic mask and a synthetic tongue. ] Yo! Look, I don't know where exactly this place is but I'm not complaining— [ He says it like he's used to waking up in strange places he doesn't quite recognize.

He runs a hand across his chin. ] —because I'm always up for some time to get away from shit, y'know? But I gotta ask, where does everybody have fun around this place? There has to be an arcade around here, right? Or at least a good bar with cheap booze. Drop me some info, I will definitely make it worth your while.

[ The young man smiles and it approaches something playful and almost wicked. Genji Shimada was such a little shit in his youth. ]

[ People staring at him really isn't out of the ordinary so he doesn't think anything of it. ] 'Fun' is whatever happens when a bunch of people get together in a bar and get to know each other, y'know?

[ Genji will drink anything, really, and he doesn't typically even pay for what he does. The youngest Shimada heir has many outstanding tabs around Hanamura but nobody dares to ever bring it up.

And then he looks incredulous at her question. ] Whaaaat? You from one of those cults that don't use technology or something, lady?

[ They are in total agreement of this definition of 'fun,' at least, but she's still on the fence as to whether or not this person might be Genji. She trusts her ears, but the difference is so marked that she has to wonder. Then again, she was something of a troublesome terror in her own youth and remains as much depending upon who one asks.

Still. ]

I wouldn't know of them. The technology of my world isn't anywhere near as... advanced, I suppose you would say, as what you might find here. Is it really so uncommon not to have heard of this 'arcade'?

[ He's kind of uninterested in what she's saying until she says 'my world' and his thick eyebrows shoot up a tad. Is everyone here on some great drugs or something? Might as well play along, not like he has anything else to do. ] Yeah, totally. There's one just a block down from where I live.

[ He runs a finger across a brow, preening a bit. ] So you don't know what video games are then, huh? I'm sure I could show you a good time. [ Yup, there it is, the flirty grin. Someone get a spray bottle. ]

[ She may be deficient in her knowledge about technology, but men? Not so much. She sees that flirty grin for what it is and the corners of her mouth quirk upward. Are you flirting, sir? She'll raise you one. ]

Could you now? I've heard it said often enough, but those sorts of words fall short of reality near as often as they're said.

[ He puts a hand to his chest dramatically as if he's been wounded, leaning back a touch. ] Ouch! So harsh out of the gate and I haven't even had a chance!

[ He's grinning though; he's always enjoyed a good banter. ] Trust me, I never fall short especially when the opinion of a lovely lady is at stake.

You do know more about the arcade than I, so I suppose I have little choice in the matter but to try in your expertise.

[ Was she speaking solely about the arcade a moment earlier? Her smile is about as honest as that twinkle in her eyes. ]

We'll have to search one out if you're truly serious about this. Think you can keep up?

[ He's finding he actually kind of likes this girl (which is dreadfully rare) so he's grinning quite broadly. ] I've never had a problem keeping up, don't you worry about that. I'll do a quick search for a place and we'll get this show on the road.

[ The way his eyes are moving shows he's doing the ol' map search in a different window. After a moment he's smiling again. ] But before that, what's your name? I'm Genji.

[ He doesn't waggle his eyebrows but it's a near thing. ]

[ Now that sort of spirit is one she's always happy to m -- meet. So it is, Genji! That smile of hers tugs into a grin with that affirmation. She trusts her ears absolutely, but it never hurts to hear it from the horse's mouth so to speak. ]

I'm Líadan. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Genji!

[ It counts as something of a first time meeting if he's younger than when they first met, doesn't it? That's what she's going with. To think this guy is Genji, though... well, she wouldn't dream of backing out of it. If anything, that's all the more reason to go on this unlikely adventure. ]

So, where will be off to, then?

[ His smile turns into a grin when hers does. ] Líadan! That's such a pretty name for a pretty lady. [ It sounds... kind of familiar? No matter.

He brushes some of his hair off his forehead, still smiling smoothly. ] Why don't I find you and then lead the way? It doesn't seem very far.

You truly think so? I've never had much of a fondness for it.

[ But then, she's never thought herself a match to the portrait painted of the Grey Lady. One of her sisters, perhaps. Her mother, even, but her? Not really. Still, she smiles and shifts just so atop her perch. ]

I will trust your judgment, then. I'm at the river by the communal housing building. It's a prominent location, so it should not be difficult to find.
