[Since the last network post went so well, Christian has decided to go to the next step. He might as well see just how far he can push things, right? Sure.]
Hey, guys.
[He even waves awkwardly with the device set up so he can use his hands.]
So, just a few things. First, what's the best way to go about inviting people to a company picnic? I've never really done anything... remotely company related, so any advice is welcome. And on that note, I don't know how many of you are familiar with the Gramarye Magic Research, uh, people, but I thought it might be helpful for all of us to say hello. To each other and everyone else, since researchers tend to close themselves into rooms and never get any good action, right?
Maybe we should try to make friends. Branch out some.
[Or he can sound ridiculous. That's always been a staple of his life anyway.]
How about one last one for the whole class: Have you ever seen a demon?

It's a special train of thought that leads from friendship to demons.

Well, dad did say I was a special boy. I'm just trying out all the angles?

[ And that's suspicious, but Loki is also naturally suspicious of everything. ]
no subject
Yes? No? And you didn't even touch the part about a picnic.
[Just noticing that right there.]
no subject
Was I meant to?
[ Loki is certainly not going for any picnic. ]

Video @strange.magic
Video
Oh, you know... Like giant spiders or moving shadows. Something like that?
Video
Well, not around here so far, but I've seen both back home. Far too many giant spiders for my liking, though most weren't demons.
Video
What would you call them?
[Spiders that were not demons? Usually if a human sees a spirit it is because that spirit is a maneater, a demon by human definition. That throws Christian off.]

To the last part

Maybe you just have to ask.
voice, @anders
( Or been involved anything "company-related," considering this is the first time ever working for a company. )
I have seen demons, though — to answer your second question. What exactly is your interest in them?
no subject
[ More importantly, Christian focuses on that second answer.]
I wanted to know what they were like for everyone else. If people here just thought they were stories or- something more. You've seen them?
no subject
( He still thinks the invitations are a good idea, but only because he doesn't know of a better way. Social media, what is that? )
Seen them, fought them. ( Been thrown into the Fade and had one attempt to possess him. Good times. ) They're spirits that have been twisted and perverted against their nature and changed into something sinful and repulsive. Each kind feeds off of a different sort of human emotion — rage, desire, sloth, hunger, pride.
You also have demons where you come from? ( He couldn't imagine why not, but some worlds apparently don't even have magic so. )
no subject
[ That's something.
The details about demons is something more. Christian's expression becomes more attentive and actually serious, fixed on Anders like he sees some puzzle he might be able to put together.]
Yeah, we have demons. They sound something like that, but they're not all what people think.
no subject
( Same as his username. It's a bit redundant, but he's still trying to get used to all the finer points of technology. As well as some of the more basic. But getting back to the whole demon thing — )
What are they like to you, then?

[Now he's starting to sweat. People are going to think he's crazy or making a scene and he doesn't have his usually fall backs to hide in.]
People here believe in magic, so... I just wondered what that included.
no subject
I'd always thought they were more of a religious nature than a specifically magic one. Have you seen one?
no subject
[No? Oops.]
Yeah. I have.

One could say I actually am one. But, then again, everyone back home thinks my kind as such.
no subject
[He almost asks the stranger if he's human or not, but the past two he posed that question to both said that they were. He doesn't want to start assuming at this point, but he shifts uneasily on the other end of the feed.]
What- What does that mean?
no subject
Our powers scare the people of my planet, but then again, some of us have truly terrifying ones.
no subject
[ Because that's the first thing he thinks of when it comes to humans and powers. The families that have inherited abilities and people like the ones he knows. Shigeru does remind him a bit of the suit that every now and then gives his dry two cents. ]
What's your power?
