So, just out of curiosity... has anyone looked into taking classes around here? And if you have, what's it been like?

I mean, back home, my parents were insisting I go to college, so... even if I'm not sure I want to bother, I figure I should keep the option open here too.

How do you even figure out if going is right for you? Especially if you have other stuff you really need to focus on too...

Do you truly wish to go to the college? If that is your wish, can they teach you anything you could not teach yourself?

At day's end, before expectations and the humdrum of anyone else's voice, it is your life to live. No one can live it for you. Your life, your story is your own and you should do what it is that you want to do, Billy. Live how you want to live, write what you want to write, be who you want to be. Do what makes YOU happy.

If that which makes you happy is magick, why not pursue it? As long as you are alive, you might as well live and as fully, as happily as you can.

Yeah, you're making a good point... and I do try to do that mostly. Just new place, fresh start. I'm trying to figure out what that means, you know?

I'm definitely trying to pursue magic more though. There's so much new stuff here to learn and I don't want to waste the chance.

It's certainly kept boredom at bay and she appreciates that, but it's never been her intention to remain. Sooner or later, she'll look into returning, when she gets bored and the fun has run out, but that isn't the case for everyone, now is it? ]

That sounds like a start to me if ever I did hear one. What sort of magick are you looking to pursue?

Some rough patches? But I mean, it wasn't all bad... I guess it's just nice to take a step back. I'll want to go home and see my parents and brothers eventually though...

[Mostly because he misses them. He went from living with them still to being on his own here. Not that it hasn't been-- good in a lot of ways, but he won't spend the rest of his life here.

While he is here though? He plans on enjoying it as much as he can.]

I'm part of the perimeter guard, so anything to help me keep other people safe, defend myself... that sounds like a pretty good start right now, I guess?
