So, just out of curiosity... has anyone looked into taking classes around here? And if you have, what's it been like?

I mean, back home, my parents were insisting I go to college, so... even if I'm not sure I want to bother, I figure I should keep the option open here too.

[He hesitates a moment before adding:]

How do you even figure out if going is right for you? Especially if you have other stuff you really need to focus on too...

Computers and Engineering. I'm in the rather broad entry-level courses now. Trying to figure out what I want to specialize in.

Maybe sign up for one or two? Test it out. It would still leave you with plenty of time to work or keep up with whatever else is going on in your life.

I've got a bit of an advantage because of work I did at home, but there are classes at all levels, and an option to take placement tests. It's nice. They aren't trying to profit off you here,
just provide an education.

If nothing else pick out something you're interested in that might not necessarily be applicable back home for a job. You can learn something you want to learn and test out the classes here without feeling like you've made some kind of future commitment.
